It was clean and comfortable, it was in a great location, lovely common over the road and the downs a 20 minute walk away. Also a short walk from the canal and town centre.

Very pleasant holiday cottage, everything you need, comfortable size for one or two people. Good simple heating. Private off road parking with car right by entrance door
Didn't like the climb up hill after stroll into town. Narrowness of gateway into drive.

Location
The shower was not particularly clean and there was an infestation of wood lice in the living space, I swept around a dozen away and we were only in the accommodation less than 18 hours.
Only blinds to all windows which afforded no black out, I probably not a problem out of summer.
We were also disappointed that there was no shower gel provided, there was just an old (clearly used as it was cracked) bar of soap - not what we expected for accommodation costing £91 for the night.
