UtopOia Apartment

The location is very convenient for shops, restaurants and the public bus stop. It is walking distance to the nicer parts of Oia. The apartment is clean and comfortable. It is spacious and there is a nice breeze through the place. There are ocean views, but you are not facing the picturesque side of town. The patio is large and good for drying clothes. It was convenient having a washing machine. Overall, I would say it is a good place to stay if you want space and centrality. If you want a romantic place to stay, not so much. The manager was helpful in arranging a shuttle bus from the port when we arrived. I think if you wanted to save money and catch the public bus there (change at Fira), it would be quite easy.

This place is pretty affordable for Oia, so you can't expect it to be perfect. It's important to be aware, while the location is central, it is quite noisy and the balcony overlooks a car park. Ocasionally the smell of garbage wafts through the window, but it is very mild. The windows are soundproofed but it is nicer to have them open. I think someone needs to go through and put some better basic equipment in the kitchen - there was only one blunt cutting knife, no chopping board, no toaster, no tea towel, and not many cooking utensils. Also, they only provide 2 toilet rolls, so you may have to buy more.

Great location and spacious apartment. The balcony had a beautiful view on sunset and great food options all around. Short walk to the shops and main strip where you take photos etc. Hosts were attentive to our needs and questions, super lovely.

1. We booked the apartment for the balcony, but didn’t end up using it since it faces a public parking lot and dumpster. There was no odor during our stay in May, but it could be an issue during the hotter summer months. 2. We found used Q-tips on the dining table when we arrived, which was not a great first impression.

The property is in an amazing location with the best view of the sunset! A perfect place to stay in Oia, right next to the local bus if you want to explore the island and only a few steps away from the heart of the town. The host was very accomodating and checking in and out was very easy, we were also kindly allowed a later check out after requesting.

Excellent location, seconds from a market to pickup wine, food, etc., 2-3 minutes from the main path in Oia, so very close to shopping and restaurants. Host was amazing, she met us to hand over the keys and to show us the place. The place was very comfortable, patio has a great view with a nice breeze, couch was comfortable to sit back and talk, kitchen was well stocked and included coffee for us (Thank you!), a thoughtful guidebook was in the family room to flip through for ideas of things to do in the area and approximate costs. The place was decorated nicely and small thoughts were thought of, such as leaving hangers in the bedroom. Those little things made the stay more enjoyable, would return again without hesitation. Also, check-in and check-out were very easy.

Walking, but this is not a fault of the location of this place.. everywhere in Oia involves steps and walking to get around. This location is on a 2nd floor. On a positive note, this place was just minutes from the bus depot so very easy to get luggage to and from the location and ultimately, being a 2nd floor offered a great breeze, great view and privacy while sitting on the outdoor patio.

Die angegebene Adresse der Unterkunft ist inkorrekt. Bei unserer Anreise mit einem von der Unterkunft organisierten Bus Service war selbst dem Fahrer nicht klar, wo er uns genau hinbringen sollte. Wir endeten dann vor einem Gyros-Imbiss mit der Anweisung die Unterkunft zu kontaktieren. Dort hieß es ein Mitarbeiter würde uns in kürze abholen. Auch nach einer halben Stunde erschien niemand. Dann erhielt ich plötzlich ein Video, welches uns den Weg zur Unterkunft lotste. Dort angekommen wurde natürlich die WLAN Verbindung eingerichtet, welches aber von nahzu nutzloser Qualität war. Selbst einen darauffolgenden Anruf der Unterkunft über WhatsApp konnte ich mit aktiver WLAN Verbindung nichteinmal entgegennehmen. Meine Beschwerde bezüglich des Internets wurde gekonnt ignoriert. Es sollte auf Absprache mit der Unterkunft innerhalb von fünf Minuten ein Mitarbeiter vorbeikommen, um die Bezahlung des Bus Service entgegenzunehmen. Aus den fünf Minuten wurde eine ganze Stunde. Die Unterkunft selbst ist zudem online "beschönigt". Besonders der gepriesene Balkon entpuppte sich als Mittelpunkt eines umringenden Parkplatzes direkt an der Hauptstraße. Armaturen im Bad waren lose oder falsch konzipiert und dadurch kaum richtig zu verwenden. Das Bett war dermaßen unbequem, dass wir froh waren, die Unterkunft nach nur einer Nacht wieder zu verlassen.

とてもとてもリラックスできました！ 広くて、快適でした。 スーパーも近く、冷蔵庫も大きいので助かります。 リビングのエアコンは壊れていましたが、寝室はとても快適で、マットレスもぐっすり眠れました。 窓がたくさんあり、色んな景色を見られるのが良い。 もう一泊したかったくらいよかったです。

リビングにゴミ箱が1つあると助かります。
