Beautiful location, clean and cosy, but beware of sustainably motivated host that lives onsite

Clean, cozy little apartment. Beautiful yard. Helpful tips from the host re parking/ shops/ viewpoints of Mont Saint Michel.

Unfortunately the hot tub and sauna have to be booked in time slots and we weren't advised ahead of time, only the afternoon we arrived stating it was available the next day (so basically only 1 out of 2 nights we were staying there). We left to pickup pizzas not far away so would only be gone maximum 1 hour and left the lights on. The host entered our apartment to turn the lights off while we were away. The next day while we went to Mont Saint Michel we made sure to turn the lights off but left the heating on (as we didn't plan to be gone more than 3 hrs) and have a baby with us so wanted to come back to a warm apartment. The heating wasn't working when we got home and we assumed were turned off at the isolator switches outside. I mentioned the heating not working to the host the next day and she didn't comment. I could be wrong but I assume she turned the heaters off. She is very green and you are required to compost/recycle correctly- which I like and admire however if her motivation for being sustainable enables her to enter guests rooms to turn off lights and cut off heating (even though we had a 1yo baby with us) then I am concerned and I think she needs a reminder that guests are paying for the privilege of comfort.

i had no idea what to expect and it was fun, the garden is lovely and the chickens are really cute

the lady met us at the gate, told us here could park and then showed us around the chute. really quaint, not fancy but homely, evertything you need is there. plenty of places to eat, shops etc are near by. lovely walks.

the stairs in the chute they are the circular type they are not friendly for young and elderly. toilet downstairs, which is annoying if you need the toilet in the night. tbf thats all i didnt like.

Very well equipped and comfortable gite. Lovely host who explained everything well and gave some recommendations for food etc.(google translate was our friend) There were various options to visiting Mont St Michel, we chose to walk from the Gite, around an hour. And a sharp knife in the kitchen, a must for a self catering apartment. Remember and book the hot tub and sauna for after your day climbing Mont St Michel.

Was really excited when I seen hens for fresh eggs, unfortunately they aren’t laying. This isn’t a negative, and no reflection on the excellent host.

Good location, facilities in the apartment were good, all clean and tidy.

Looked like it was two bedrooms when we booked but turned out to only be one, with three beds. Requested jacuzzi prior to arriving but no response to my email; jacuzzi water was heavily chlorinated.

The property is well decor and well equipped kitchen. The host is very friendly and showed us the information of nearby sightseeing spots.

The 5pm check in was just a tad late for a winters stay . It gets dark early and there usually but much open at that time of night to venture out once checked in .

Lovely stay near Mont Saint-Michel.

The host was superb. Very friendly and responsive to all our requests. The little extras left in the house were very special. Well equipped and clean. A/C in all rooms, easy access, safe storage for our bicycles. Highly recommended.

The main beds can be firmer. Both have passed fair use.

Lovely place for holiday

The property has a very good facility, including AC (very useful for summer). I’m very impressed with private jacuzzi and sauna. The cat and hens also give us a very warm welcome in the lovely garden.

Some of the dishes are not clean.

Séjour exceptionnel à proximité du Mont Saint Michel dans un cadre idyllique !

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce gîte idéalement situé à seulement 20 minutes à pied du Mont-Saint-Michel. L’emplacement est parfait pour profiter pleinement du site tout en bénéficiant du calme et du charme de ce logement magnifique. L’accueil de notre hôte a été tout simplement remarquable. Elle s’est montrée extrêmement attentionnée tout au long de notre séjour et nous a partagé ses meilleures adresses et bons plans du coin, ce qui nous a permis de découvrir la région comme des locaux. Je tiens particulièrement à souligner son honnêteté et sa gentillesse exceptionnelles : j’avais oublié des bijoux sur place après mon départ, et elle a pris le temps de me les renvoyer. Ce geste témoigne de qualités humaines rares et précieuses. Je recommande ce gîte sans la moindre hésitation ! Si vous cherchez un hébergement de qualité près du Mont-Saint-Michel avec un accueil chaleureux, c’est l’adresse idéale.

Parfait en tout point !

Accueillis par une dame charmante pleine d'attention (caramels et biscuits de la région, café, eau fraîche mise au frigo a l'avance, etc...) Le duplex impeccable avec tout ce qu'il faut et très confortable. Une cours et un jardin magnifique, très entretenu avec poules , sauna , bain . Un abri de jardin rempli de trésors (raquettes de tennis, de badminton, palets etc...) Bref un endroit incroyable et un accueil plus que chaleureux. Je recommande vivement !!!

Voyage au Mont Saint Michel

Très bon accueil, petit présent appréciable, très bon conseil pour les visites du secteur, bouteille d'eau dans le réfrigérateur très appréciable, jolies poules dans le jardin qui lui-même est bien aménagé. Jeux extérieurs et intérieurs qui peuvent être utiles. Petit village très agréable avec de nombreux commerces achalandés.

Logement familial proche du Mont St Michel

Logement climatisé sympa très bien équipé, joliment décoré. L'Hôtesse est très sympathique. Elle a pris le temps, nous a tout expliqué, très bien guidés et est intervenue rapidement lorsque nous avons eu un petit souci matériel. Merci beaucoup. Un joli jardin avec des poules. Enormément d'équipement extérieur que nous n'avons pas eu le temps d'utiliser. Le logement est proche du Mont St Michel, environ 20 min à pied de la zone des parkings. Pour ceux qui veulent faire le ménage un équipement complet qui facilite le travail.

Wundervolle Unterkunft

Eine ganz wundervolle Unterkunft in perfekter Lage. Man kann zu Fuß zum Mont St. Michelle laufen und auch in einen sehr netten Ort. Die Gastgeberin hat ein ganz wundervolles Haus mit wunderschönem Garten. Es ist ruhig, sehr sauber. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und bekommt wertvolle Tipps, um die Umgebung zu entdecken. Absolute Weiterempfehlung! Wir kommen sehr, gerne wieder!

La proximité du Mont Saint-Michel, on a tout fait à pied. On est juste pas restées assez longtemps pour profiter sur place du bain nordique ! Merci à notre hôte pour ses conseils et les petits cadeaux de bienvenue. On a beaucoup aimé.

Ideaal verblijf voor deze regio

Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement et agréablement par la propriétaire, Viviane. On sent qu’elle exerce son métier avec passion. Bonne communication concernant les heures d’arrivée. C’était agréable de trouver du café pour le premier matin dans le placard, ainsi que des œufs frais du jardin. Tout est bien organisé en ce qui concerne le tri des déchets, et du charbon de bois était également à disposition pour que nous puissions faire un barbecue pendant notre séjour. Les lits et les oreillers étaient de bonne qualité. Nos enfants (ados) ont également profité des installations (par exemple les raquettes de badminton, le jacuzzi, le sauna) ainsi que de la compagnie du chat et des petites poules. Ce gîte est le point de départ parfait pour explorer la région : à seulement 20 minutes à pied de la navette pour le Mont Saint-Michel. Le deuxième jour, nous avons visité Saint-Malo, ce qui en vaut également vraiment la peine, à 45 minutes de route. Merci Viviane pour ces trois superbes journées passées chez vous !

Fabuleux et calme, la période de fin mars pour profiter sans un afflue massif de touristes

Le cadre, la situation géographique du logement (le mont St Michel est accessible à pied 20min), le calme et la proximité des commerces.

La disponibilité, la gentillesse des propriétaires et la possibilité de se rendre a un très beau moulin complétement restauré et fonctionnel ou l'on peut acheter sa farine moulu sur place, la location de vélo est recommander pour se rendre jusqu'à Cherrueix et Cancale via la piste cyclable pour déguster les fruits de mer ou autres.
