Extremely awful

Fraudulent behavior ！! Be careful the landlord will charge a high deposit when you arrive, at the time of check-out I personally requested to check the environment and asked to return the deposit, after the environmental inspection the landlord said cleanliness no problem deposit will be returned later, after leaving three hours was unilaterally told to deduct a fine of 125 euros, these items have no standards, only the unilateral landlord said! Please be careful, everyone! Don't be defrauded of high fines by landlords. It is not advisable to deceive tourists! 遊客們請小心這間！呼籲大家來這裡千萬要小心房東會在你抵達收取高額押金，在退房當下我個人要求檢查環境並且要求退還押金，環境檢查過後房東都說清潔沒問題押金晚點會退回來，在離開三小時之後被單方面告知要扣取125歐元罰款，這些項目沒有任何標準，只有單方面房東說的算！各位請小心！別被房東騙取高額罰款，欺騙遊客行為不可取！

We were charged 125€ by the owner of ___ THREE HOUR after the checkout had been completed. We did ask the OWNER come to check and verify the condition of the property meet his standard or not, and he APPROVED and told us everything is ok, which makes this charge understandable. What we did included cleaning the trash from the KITHCEN and LIVING ROOM, removing ALL THE BEDDING SHEETS to his assigned bags. However, we then received a message saying that he would charge 125€ from us due to there were still trash in the trash can from two of bedroom’s bathroom, and some sort of sink drain clog. In addition, we were accused of checking out 45 minutes late, which was not true. We had opened the door before 10 o'clock and waited for the landlord to come to check. After waiting for 10 minutes, I took the initiative to go to the next door to find the landlord to check. Because the landlord had collected a deposit of 400 euros the day before, I waited for the landlord to come and confirm with him face to face whether we had done anything wrong. I also took the initiative to ask the landlord to check upstairs. It took 20 minutes to check. After the inspection, the landlord said there was no problem, and promised to return the deposit and confirmed it twice. After knowing that there was no problem, we asked the landlord about the surrounding tourist attractions and routes, which also took 15 minutes. However, the time spent checking the environment and consulting tourist information was actually accused by the landlord of checking out late and deducting our deposit! At that time, the landlord was cleaning the house and we were still loading the luggage into the car in front of the house. In fact, the landlord could have asked us to go back to do these so-called unqualified cleaning projects, but he did not, and instead used unreasonable fines to inform us.

Clean apartment out in countryside!

Accoms is a mere few km's in the countryside in a lovely, rural area. You do need your own transport to fully utilise your time here. It is only a 15 minute or so drive up to Mont Saint Michel (but you need to allow at least 1+ hrs because the drive is the least of it - the parking 2.5km from MSM, getting the shuttle bus across to the island, or walking all takes up the extra time. Onsite is a heated pool (can be covered) and a sauna for use (pool free, sauna per use to pay and expensive). There are no free towels for use though. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer for communal use (at no cost but supply your own washing powder). There are also various board games. And various outdoor games like badminton. Our room was upstairs over the place to park our car. Kind of like an attic room (sloped ceiling). - need to be careful on one side of the room due to the low ceiling on the left side. Room has air con, heating, skylight, mini kitchen which does have a small oven thingy in one of the cupboards (have to bring it out and put it on the bench) as well as all the usual kitchen type stuff. It does lack bench space (but there is a large bench adjacent to the kitchen (opposite the end of the bed, where the microwave, TV etc are). Kitchenette has some condiments and olive oil for use. The en-suite has an terrific shower (strong pressure, rain shower & normal shower and jets and a waterfall). Could do with a bit more bench space and hanging space. Internet worked well. Could do with more power points. Owners were friendly and helpful. We had a car so all was good but you would struggle we think if you don't have transport.

You do need a car or bike, etc. Need to pay for towel usage at pool if you use. Overall the place is nice but our issue was with the way it is advertised (when we booked it sounded like it had 2 pools and that the sauna was free, and that there was a washing machine in the room (there isn't). Also the 'security deposit' was double what booking.com had it listed as (although we no issue with this being returned the next day) - just pointing it out. The yard around and under the upstairs unit (that we had) needs a bit of a 'spruce up'. And be aware that you have to completely clean the unit before leaving (as in do all the work a cleaner or owner would usually do after you leave) if you want your deposit back. That doesn't really feel like a holiday!

The owners are a pleasant couple but the cottage would never meet building code in America.

There must not be any building codes in France. There were a number of dangerous facilities in the building. The stair treads are too narrow and the ceiling beams too low etc. It was not a good place for 2 seniors to stay.

Comfortable lodging at the doors of Mont Saint-Michel

Thank you for making us feel immediately welcome! The property is spacious with many sleeping options and was really clean upon arrival. It was fully furnished with all that is needed for any kind of stay. We did only stay one night but I could see myself spending more time there. Sadly we didn't get to enjoy the pool because of rain but the pool itself is warm and covered.

Exceptional

Great place, warm welcome, friendly staff, clean what more could you ask for. Went as a couple as was touring the region and would definitely bring the family here. Good brekfast too. Was very helpful with area knowledge and gives great advice on what to see and how best to see it etc. Highly recommend.

Really good value for the money, hosts were great!

Great Location for visiting North East Brittany and SW Normandy. Hosts were great and happy to give us advice on visiting the various attractions and Markets in the area. The Pool was fantastic and always warm which was good as the weather was a bit variable. The Gite was as expected for the money it lacked a dishwasher however it was good value for what we paid. We will visit again.

Could have done with a dishwasher but with only 3 of us it wasn't an issue.

Tatsächlich sind die Regeln streng: vor 10 Uhr Betten abziehen und in Säcke stecken, putzen, man muss warten bis die Spühlmaschine fertig ist vor der Abreise und alles noch ausräumen .. das ist bei diesem Preis und im Urlaub nicht ideal. Bei 400 Euro Kaution wird das Ganze auch sehr ernst genommen , war für uns leider etwas stressig
