Monica Guesthouse

I really enjoyed my stay @ Monica Guest House, loved it so much I stayed 3 nights instead of one. Love the nice big bright room with a smart TV with You Tube & Netflix. Also loved the huge balcony on the rooftop with almost 360 degree views of Kampot with the mountains.

To be honest there wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Wir hatten das Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk und damit schnellen Zugang zu der grossen gemeinschaftlichen Dachterrasse mit fantastischem Ausblick. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig. Die Dachterrasse hatten wir an allen Tagen für uns alleine, aber es gibt dort genügend Sitzgelegenheiten sodass man sie auch gemeinsam nutzen kann. Das Gästehaus liegt etwas ausserhalb, um in die Stadt zu kommen kann man günstig ein Grab nehmen oder mit dem Roller fahren. Roller kann man zu einem günstigen Preis direkt in der Unterkunft mieten. Uns hat die Lage ausserhalb gefallen. Das deutsche Essen und ist eine willkommene Abwechslung wenn man länger unterwegs ist, besonders das Frühstück ist lecker und reichhaltig und die Schnitzel sind super. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut.

Friendly and warm staff, and extremely easy check-in and check-out. Very quiet at night. Great view of Bokor mountain. Constant breeze. Large balcony to hang out on with good all-day sun. The AC and dehumidifier worked well when needed. King-sized beds that were very comfortable. Not far from the town. There's a small market next to the building so you don't have to leave the area to buy necessities. Overall, Monica Guesthouse is the only accommodation I am willing to stay in when visiting Kampot.

Only a little complaint: the maximum shower water temperature was between lukewarm and warm. Otherwise, no problems.

Nice big rooms… great pool

Only 6 Sun loungers? Too far to a cafe.. no food served.. wouldn’t recommend
