Uitstekende ligging vlakbij centrum en toch zeer rustig, zeer gastvrij onthaal, gezellige babbels met gastheer. Bijzonder goede prijs-kwaliteit en joepie: een douche met én voldoende druk op het water, én warm water. Goede uitvalsbasis voor bezienswaardigheden. Uitstekend ontbijt met lekkere koffie.
Waarom hebben ze in Sri Lanka nooit haakjes of kapstokken om kleren aan te hangen.

We really enjoyed our time at Dilshans Cottage. The location was perfect, close to all the restaurants and cafés, but still really quite. It was also a good starting point for hiking and to the viewing points. The host was so nice, he made us a different breakfast every day. All our requests were handled so fast.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, fresh, and served in generous portions with a variety of traditional Sri Lankan dishes and fresh fruits. The location is excellent—peaceful, surrounded by beautiful scenery, and within walking distance of popular attractions like Little Adam's Peak, the Nine Arch Bridge, and Ella town. The room was clean and comfortable, and the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ella!
