Die Betreiber des Ban Por Fai waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und auch sehr flexibel. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und jeden Tag gab es vor die Tür gestellt, Toilettenpapier, Wasser und löslichen Kaffee mit löslichen Milchpulver für die Kaffeezubereitung. Die Klimaanlage hat einwandfrei funktioniert und beim Betreten der Zimmer hat es immer angenehm nach einem wunderbaren Duft gerochen. Durch die gute Lage, waren es nur knapp 100 bis 150 m zum Strand, der je nach Ebbe und Flut vorhanden war. Der Strand war sauber und das Wasser zum Baden prima. Zur selbstversorgung gab es in der Nähe 7/11 und Stände zum Essen. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen!
Es gab eigentlich nichts zu beanstanden. Habe aber vergessen , den Betreibern zu erzählen, dass in meinem Badezimmer die Toilettenbrille und der Toilettendeckel lose waren. Das müsste eventuell erneuert werden.

Great place and great people! Steve and Pim are the owners. When Steve saw I was booking for a month, he wrote to me and said he was going to bump me up to a larger room with a balcony at no extra charge. What a great guy.
The rooms are simple but remember this is an economy hotel not a resort. With that said, it's very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The location is very good with the sea less than 100 meters away. If you like morning or evening walks by the sea, it's great. There is a sidewalk right along sea that stretches for miles to the south. To the north the white sand beach goes on for miles.
If you are a light sleeper choose a room that is not on the street side. The bars in the area can get a bit loud at night. It didn't bother me but it might bother some light sleeper.
My flight landed at midnight. I reach out and asked if I could get an early check in. I didn't want to wait for a bus or train in the morning and hired a car. Steve said no problem and was waiting for me when I arrived at 4:00AM.
Again, it's a great budget friendly hotel...no pool, no frills and no elevator.

Friendly staff. Ok place to stay.
Cold shower. No shampoo. They tried killing my lungs by overusing that air freshener.
