Lovely villa in a very quiet area with a good sized pool. Villa very well equipped with everything you might possibly need.

A cooling dip in the pool was very refreshing. The kitchen was extemely well equipped. We had a couple of wet, cloudy days and solar powered water immersion heater wasn't veryb effective. Fortunately, there is a mains electric back up, so no shortage of hot water on cloudy days.

To make the most of the ventilation we had to have the patio doors open. This gave free access to variety of biting insects. For the first week we all suffered from multi insect bites, despite coming prepared with insect repellents. We were fortunate to find a more effective repellent in a local supermarket, but even this wasn't 100%, but was an immense improvement. We have been to Barbados many times previously an never experienced this level of bites, but it could be the time of year makes a difference.

Loved the pol and outdoor dining area. Marcia (property manager) was so warm and friendly. Housekeeping mid-week was extremely thorough, she even lined up my cosmetics on the bathroom countertop! The place had everything we needed. We were thrilled when we had 2 quick visits from some neighborhood monkeys who strolled across the backyard fence - 2 one morning (see photo) and 1 in the evening.

Wow! The pictures just don't do this place justice, it is amazing! Really spacious, beautifully furnished, comfortable, and absolutely, by far, the most well equipped place I've ever stayed, literally everything had been thought of, from needle and cotton, to playing cards, to snorkels and tennis rackets! There wasn't a single thing we could have wanted that wasn't there. The place was impeccably clean and we felt at home right away. The rooms all have large en suite bathrooms and plenty of bedding. The sofas (both inside and out) were soooo comfortable. The pool is a decent size and well maintained. The patio area is just perfect both for chilling out (on the sofas) or eating at the large table. In addition, we got the most comprehensive guide to both the house and the area on whatsapp which was so helpful. Local property manager Marcia was just lovely. Having a washing machine was so useful, there was a retractable washing line so we were able to wash swimwear and towels which was really handy. There's a stunning, very quiet beach about a 10 minute walk away that needs to be seen to be believed. Don't hesitate, if you're lucky enough to get availability here, grab it!
