Beautiful quaint little cottage, great sea views from the upstairs windows, lovely and cool in the heat of the day.
The bedrooms were fab, great for little ones, with lovely array of games and books, a generous touch. We will definitely book again for a couple of days, close to the little beach and harbor.
Parking in Staithes is a challenge but for good reason, it's important to protect the local community from too many cars. However drop off is easy if you are a confident reverser, we parked at the pre book car park at the top, Glenvale, they are easy to find and a great service for tourists, definitely recommend but you must pre book.

Terrific view of a kittiwake nesting on a nearby roof top, then witnessing the chicks arrival. Lovely shower. Comfortable lounge and kitchen. Good location.
Could have done with 2 or 3 more pillows. Cobwebby windows.

This cottage worked brilliantly for our family of five and we fully appreciated the beautiful books and sea views for us to enjoy. As others have mentioned, the car park is at the top of the village (but you can drop your luggage adjacent to the cottage), so I highly recommend being prepared and bringing all the food that you’ll need so that you can switch off. That being said, there are some lovely local places to eat on the doorstep.

Cottage was situated in a beautiful little spot on north Yorks coast. Space in cottage was good and decorated nicely.
Log burner being out of action, the wood lice being found in single bed, lack of apology or empathy from the owner not caring that a premium had been paid for a log burner experience in February for a special birthday.
