About this cottage rental
From the street, you will enter this property into the first of the living spaces. Fire up the wood burner, flick on your favourite movie, and get cosy on the comfortable seating. The second lounge has further seating and is the perfect spot for getting competitive over some board games. Downstairs on the lower ground floor is the large kitchen/diner, a bright and airy space with space for cooking, socialising, and eating together. Up on the first floor are two of the bedrooms, a king-size which contains a TV, and a bunk bedroom, as well as a handy shower room. On the top floor of the property, situated in the attic, is a fabulous master bedroom with a king-size bed, a TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a stunning slipper bath. Head through the door from the kitchen and find a lovely patio area with seating, which is great for morning coffees or evening tipples.
Staithes is home to a couple of shops, pubs, and some lovely cafes. You can also find a few companies which offer boat trips from the small fishing harbour. There is a coastal path which winds past the village, where you can head down to Runswick Bay (3 miles) and Kettleness Beach (4.5 miles). For further seaside fun, head to Whitby (12 miles), which has a fantastic sandy beach, a wide range of places to eat, and some great, family-friendly museums and attractions.
