Review of Sophie's Caravan We recently stayed at Sophie's Caravan and, overall, were very pleased with the accommodation itself. On arrival, the caravan was spotlessly clean, tidy, and well-presented. It was also ideally positioned close to the site amenities, which made getting around very convenient. We really couldn't fault the caravan and would happily stay there again. Unfortunately, some aspects of the holiday park let the experience down. Not all staff members were particularly helpful, and gaining access to the swimming pool was far more difficult than it needed to be. The on-site shop was noticeably overpriced, and the restaurant could have been maintained to a higher standard of cleanliness and tidiness. Another issue was the lack of seating in the clubhouse. During busy periods it became overcrowded, making it difficult to find somewhere to sit and relax. On a positive note, the arcade was great fun and our children thoroughly enjoyed spending time there. The location of the site is a real advantage, being close to the beach and within easy reach of several good restaurants and attractions just 20–30 minutes away. While Sophie's Caravan itself was excellent, the holiday park really needs to raise its standards when it comes to customer service and overall guest experience. With better staff support, improved facilities management, and more attention to cleanliness, the site could be much more enjoyable for visitors.

It was very well maintained, great location, amenities like TV with prime and hotstar and also a playstation 4 with some games were a bonus

The property was clean,well equipped,the layout was comfortable and the location was 5-6 minutes walk from the beach. The decking outside is brilliant, its one of the reasons I've chosen the place. We will be back

Comfortable beds, reasonably clean-probably could do with a deep clean, great location very quiet, toilet paper, tea coffee sugar, washing liquid sponge and hand soap included which was a nice touch.

Frying pan full of rust couldn’t use, shower door broken one side of door is missing it seems floods floor when using, no shower mat provided (not usually something a traveler would bring with so definitely needs providing), the worst is the black mould in the caravan on curtains nets and curtains so close to where bed is where you sleep it’s very dangerous for the health as black mould spores become airborne and sit in the lungs. I was worried about my 7 year old who naturally wanted to use balcony doors and kept playing near the black mould I kept asking him to move away, in the end we left a day early- not good for the health can make you ill. Ripped curtain nets also in the living room. Door frame broken, mould growing on wall by fridge. Needs a deep clean and new windows put in to prevent mould growth.
