Ubicación perfecta para iniciar el camino. Cogimos habitación privada con baño. La pensión más barata de toda nuestra experiencia y con desayuno incluido. Fuimos en momento de frío y había calefacción eléctrica lo cual es maravilloso porque en otros alojamientos pasamos un poco de frío. Además incluía desayuno. Inmejorable.

We booked the place the same day we arrived in Sarria, as we were doing the Camino and did not have any bookings in advance. It was very well priced for a private room. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner - il nonno, who was very friendly and helpful. He is also the chef at the restaurant and cooks great! We had dinner there and rested well.

These are just things I noticed, which were not an issue for us, but I think might me for some other people. The room was on the first floor, which made it very convenient to enter and to leave. The walls are kind of thin, so you can hear what is happening outside, which in our case was not a lot, but the room is also right next to the eating space, hence there may be days or nights where it can be more noisy. Not during our stay though, we had great rest and the next day we walked 50 km!

We ordered this as accommodation approximately 1 hour before arriving (so the time for leaving the keys in the key locker near the door was not sufficient). When we arrived the door was closed so we had to wait for some time, before the owner answered and said that he would come in 10 minutes. Then he arrived and gave us the keys. The room was simple, with a good shower. We said that we will have breakfast at 6 AM, but in reality we came at 6.30 AM and it seemed that the owner came early and waited for 30 minutes just for us. Overall, considering breakfast for 2, the price for accommodation was really cheap. It seems that the owner does his best, perhaps in the absence of proper resources, and this stay is worth a good score

There is no soundproofing, we were pilgrims and had earplugs and used them for sleep. There is no glass on the window, just wooden shutters, which adds to the noise.

Habitacuon con cama cómoda y bastante ropa de cama (hacíafrío), aseo y todo muy limpio, buena ubicación en el pueblo en la misma calle de salida del pueblo hacía el Camino de Santiago. Varios restaurantes alrededor.

La ubicación es buena, PERO está justo a pie de calle (hablo de la habitación doble con baño, en la planta baja, 50€/noche). El pero es porque las centenas y puerta de salida a la calle sin de madera, no miy gruesa y mal aisladas, se oye todo, cualquier comentario, los pasos, las risas y el jaleo, el ruido de los trasnochadores y el de los madrugadores.... si tienes el sueño ligero, mala opción. Sugerencia, aislar esa puerta y ventana... Por otro lado, el hombre tardó bastante en llegar, no sé si tubo un problema, pero estuvimos unos 45min rspersbdo para poder entrar. El desayuno que estaba pagado, un café (no era malo) y una napolitana de bollería industrial, o una tostada de Bimbo con mantequilla y mermelada... Por último, partido de España, tele en la habitación y la tele no tiene cable de antena??? Menos mal que tenemos móviles!!
