The interior was very nice, it was clean and spacious with some nice facilities for Camino walkers. A reasonable price for the city.

Don’t be put off by the external appearance of the building, it is a lot better inside.

We stayed in Hostel Porton when doing our Camino Primitivo, therefore we stayed in the shared room. We liked that there were no bunk beds, instead just 10 beds with enough space from each other. The location was very central and the bar (cafe) connected to the hostel was very very nice, with live music on Sunday. There was 5 bathrooms each with a shower and a toilet, which I personally liked for more privacy.

Showers could have been regularly moped, or at least provided with a mop as it was sometimes very vet. There was no place to dry your clothes, only in "emergency cases" very dark and a little bit stinky room with a hanger, which I found very unfortunate as it is an albergue with a washing machine.

too much noise from adjacent bar that was owned by same owner as hostel- noise until around 5 in the morning and light not turned off on hostel until midnight. all this distracted from otherwise good hostel.
