Cosy and beautiful scenery. Great for a little getaway, me and my fiancé had a great time. Great location not far from Wrexham and Llangollen, walkable and accessible by car. The host was lovely and very helpful, and ofc have to mention Sushi and Pickle who gave us a warm welcome

Gets quite cold during the night, we forget kindling so we couldn’t use the log burner. I think a little list of what to bring such as logs would have been helpful.

Modern, clean spacious, furnished Yurt with a sheltered kitchen area with all facilities to make drinks directly outside and an enclosed bathroom with shower. We didn't use the stove, but we could see this catered very well for cooking.

There was no wood for the fireplace and the temperature dropped significantly, when we popped out for dinner /stopped for milk and biscuits on way back to warm up with a cuppa. The hill to the yurts was too steep for a new car, we parked lower parking as the road up was stoney....unpaved.

The whole experience was amazing . Very clean and tidy . So close to all amenities. Was greeted with a friendly face and was also left alone to our own devices . This is the first time we have ever stayed in a yurt and can honestly say it won't be our last although i will be bringing more logs next time as the nights in april are pretty cold Thank you thistlebank for the experience

It was really cosy and had everything we needed was very clean and the views were beautiful enjoyed walking around the area along the river and not far to walk to langollen town

The yurt was in a lovely location, very quiet and comfortable . Good to have the electric blanket as it was very cold at night, but the bed was soft and warm, with hot water bottlesalso provided. There was a log burner but we had to provide our own logs etc. Think is could have been set up ready for arrival then you provide after that. We didn't know how much wood etc to take.

Really liked the quirky different look was not disappointed night time in a great location was relaxing and peaceful 😌

The room was damp beyond belief the chairs where damp ,the log fire ,once you used your small bucket of coal you had to buy more at £7.00 a bucket from owner, and the wood as shown in the pi tures is underciver and not to be used as could damage the fire,, so where cold and had to sleep fully clothed, also ,in the literature provided it states quiet time is 22.00 but we had contact owners as there children where screaming and shouting outside yurt in the pitch black from when we arrived back at 18.00 till gone 22.35 and had to phone the owner ( SAM) to see what time the screaming was due to stop, and with the children in the other yurt next door eventhough it was 18 + -The kitchen area was open to the elements fridge microwave wet with the rain , no pans to cook with , and really needed a good clean throughout and the yurt as was not really a good enjoyable stay and had to leave early than planned due⁶ to being cold and are clothes being damp one the whole this was a very unpleasant stay

Loved the yurt and outside facilities. Great rural spot close to the canal for walking into town.

The driveway and exit from the property was a bit tricky.

Absolutely stunning location with beautiful view and so peaceful. We will very likely stay again as our retreat when we need a break from society.

Gets very hot in summer without ventilation. Also found we had to lift the door slightly to get the lock to work; easy once you know but initially a little confusing.

We loved every minute of our stay the location and the owners were lovely

This was a beautiful yurt in an amazing location. The owners were really friendly and helpful. Super comfy bed and really cosy.

We weren't provided with any towels, but I'm sure if we had asked they would have given us some :)

Very comfortable accommodation with all the necessary facilities. Great views and walking distance to a pub with friendly service and good food. Thanks to our host who quickly provided some essential supplies that we had not been able to bring with us.

The 1st time I've ever stayed a Yurt loved it the family who run it are fantastic couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. There daughter came over to chat she is so amazing, polite .

Having to come home .

The yurt was so cosy and the views were amazing. The kitchen has everything you could need for your stay. Lovely personal touches with the children making dog treats you can buy. Would have liked to have known about the Mexican food hamper the other little girl makes up as it’s 24 hours notice she needs.

Beautiful location, peaceful but not too far from amenities of town. Friendly helpful hosts. Amazing accommodation.

Nothing that we didn't like. Only suggestion would be maybe provide tea towels in kitchen area, we just didn't think to take any with us.

Hosts - such lovely people and a pleasure to deal with. Very helpful and friendly, given good tips on where to go and what to see, so top hosts and thank you for your hospitality. Yurt - super clean, modern with electricity and sockets to charge your gadgets. Fireplace to make your stay cosy during a chilly night. Outside chillout area with sofa and armchairs and at the back of the yurt small table if you want to have a breakfast with a view. Occasionally visited by the hawks and owls - incredible to see them so close. Have not used TV but it's there if you feel like you need it. To be honest I don't think there is anything more you will need on your holidays except good weather. Bed - one of the most comfortable beds I can imagine with a warm duvet, once you lie down on it, you are ready for good night sleep. Bathroom - clean with shower and heater, which is a bit of a luxury Kitchen - fully equipped kitchen outdoors with induction hob, kettle and all pans and pots, so you don't need to take anything with you. There is also a good size fridge for all your BBQ food. Ahh, yes there is also a private BBQ outside as well. Area - Great outdoors with an amazingly long walk by the canal, which leads to the town centre. Good spot for my motorbike travel. Llangollen is a hidden gem, worth a 30min walk to the town in the evening or afternoon, with great selection of pubs and restaurants. Plenty of walks around in incredible scenery. Pub - very nice food with great host and delicious rack of ribs :) 5 min walk from the yurt. Good selection of beer, food for everyone and plenty of space to sit outside. I will definitely stay there again as I did enjoy it more than anywhere else.

The road leading to the yurt - but again, I was on the road motorbike, so for less experienced motorbike riders, it might be a bit tricky. Cars will not have any problem getting there. So no downside, just information. Pillows - 2 sets of pillows. They are super comfortable, but it would be a great touch to have one as it is and one pillow a bit thinner for those who prefer to sleep on flat ones. Again this is not a downside, just a recommendation.
