Sunbank Yurt

We'd never stayed in a yurt before but we enjoyed so much that we'd absolutely do it again! During the day the yurt was like a sauna (luckily there's a window you can open!), but in the night it was quite chilly. I'd bought hot water bottles and layers so we were nice and cozy. The scenery was beautiful but if you want to cwtch up indoors, there's a tv (we watched Wimbledon and the football in the evening!). It had everything you could need for a brief stay. Our hosts were also very accommodating and communicative! If we come back again, we'll be trying the pizzas! Thank you :-)

Some instructions for the shower and toilet would have been useful - once we worked them out, they were easy but it did take some time to understand. Also would advise future guests to use Google maps NOT Apple maps for directions. We used Apple maps and it took us to a wrong turning which lead us to a very narrow and wild road! Google maps got us at the destination without a problem :-)

Near to Offas Dyke path, great views, clean and comfortable, all the basics provided, owner was really helpful with queries. Great!

Nothing - it was all good

It was a great location very near to the canal and with easy access to walks around Llangollen. We had never stayed in a yurt before (usually do basic camping!) so it was a fun experience. Nice to have a BBQ to use, as the weather was fantastic whilst we were there. Nice garden and sitting out area, with birdsong every morning etc! Also useful to have a mini fridge.

Everything was fine really! One thing that could be improved was better equipment in the kitchen - sharp knife, etc. Also could do with a bath mat in the shower room so the floor doesn't get soaked in water. Some of the furnishings were a bit 'tired' and damaged, but none of this affected our enjoyment of our stay.

Brilliant location, lovely scenery & romantic setting.

Loads of lady bugs in the yurt, didn't know how to work the shower, toilet was tiny, got very cold after the fire ran out.. Just unfortunate of the weather conditions being very windy and cold, I could imagine this being 10x better in the warmer months.
