Sunbank Yurt

Lovely stay… great location. Only met Simon but very welcoming. Second time for us staying here .. it’s so peaceful .. bed is super comfy, log burner is great! It’s has everything you need really. Internet is t good but you’re there to get away from home and relax so not a problem! We love the little visits from pickle there dog., very cute and friendly .. she likes a biscuit or two! I was prepared! The yurt has a lovely cosy feel to it especially after dark with the fairy lights and log burner… Morning coffee watching the wildlife and the sheep .. bliss! I would recommend it.

There isn’t really anything I don’t like… maybe update the outside furniture… getting a little old .. but we just put the blankets over.. I can’t complain as we had a lovely stay and the hosts are there if you need anything at all. Although the yurts are on the property you never get bothered by them and it’s very private.

We'd never stayed in a yurt before but we enjoyed so much that we'd absolutely do it again! During the day the yurt was like a sauna (luckily there's a window you can open!), but in the night it was quite chilly. I'd bought hot water bottles and layers so we were nice and cozy. The scenery was beautiful but if you want to cwtch up indoors, there's a tv (we watched Wimbledon and the football in the evening!). It had everything you could need for a brief stay. Our hosts were also very accommodating and communicative! If we come back again, we'll be trying the pizzas! Thank you :-)

Some instructions for the shower and toilet would have been useful - once we worked them out, they were easy but it did take some time to understand. Also would advise future guests to use Google maps NOT Apple maps for directions. We used Apple maps and it took us to a wrong turning which lead us to a very narrow and wild road! Google maps got us at the destination without a problem :-)

Near to Offas Dyke path, great views, clean and comfortable, all the basics provided, owner was really helpful with queries. Great!

Nothing - it was all good

Brilliant location, lovely scenery & romantic setting.

Loads of lady bugs in the yurt, didn't know how to work the shower, toilet was tiny, got very cold after the fire ran out.. Just unfortunate of the weather conditions being very windy and cold, I could imagine this being 10x better in the warmer months.
