About this house rental
You will have a hard time finding a cottage closer to a private beach in the area. This cottage is part of Old Homestead association in Huron, Ohio. There is a beautiful private sandy beach that is a quick 1/2 a block walk straight down the street. The cottage has two bedrooms: One has a queen bed and full size bed, the other has a full size bed and a fold down couch available in a sitting area that can be closed off. There is one bathroom and an outside shower. There is a kitchen with essentials, washer/ dryer available in the laundry room, charcoal grill and a large back yard. There is WIFI and cable or streaming services.

LOVED being 300 steps, and within sight of, from the beach, even though the weather wasn't very "beachy". The cottage was a nice, cozy place from which we based quite a week of dining around the area and some shopping.

This is a cute little house with private beach access. Kitchen is stocked pretty well. Local grocery store and Drug Mart are just minutes away. We had 6 ppl, my husband and I, my adult daughter and her BF, and my other 2 kids (teens). Sleeping arrangements were ok, but the pull out couch should not be considered a bed. Very uncomfortable, and has a bar running through the middle. We made the one bathroom situation work (obviously I knew this before booking). With that many people I may look for at least a bath and a half next time, but if I was planning just a 4 person getaway this would be on my list for a place to stay again. Laundry room is great. Board games, outside games like cornhole etc.Huron Harbor House is a nice place to eat on the water. Jims pizza box was great and they deliver. My kids devoured the chicken alfredo pizza!
