Ambleside and Lake Winderemere are only five miles away and feature a variety of shops, pubs, and restaurants, as well as the iconic Bridge House from the 17th century, which is a popular photo op in the Lake District. The towns of Windermere and Keswick are easily accessible by car, while the lake itself offers opportunities for boating, sailing, and other activities.
