Lake District Pub with 10 en-suite rooms

The pub was everything we needed and more. The rooms were well setup and perfect for our group. Having en-suites in every room was absolute bliss. The kitchen was perfect; especially with us cooking for 20. The location is stunning and not far away from Helvellyn, which me managed to climb on a hangover. Phil, the owner, helped with everything, responded quickly to all of my questions (mainly about the keg situation that I ordered from Hawkshead Brewery) and made our stay so much easier. We couldn’t be more grateful.

This is a truly special house for family or friends reunions. The bedrooms are all ensuite and perfect. The bar area and dining room is great for catching up and the kitchen is well equipped.

Lack of parking outside but there are lots of parking nearby

We had a pleasant stay at Sun Lounge and Boutique Pub in Hawkshead. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the village, with shops, pubs, and restaurants all within a short walk. It's also a great base for exploring the area, with plenty of beautiful walking routes nearby and easy access to Lake Coniston, Lake Windermere, and the surrounding fells, including Scafell and Scafell Pike. The accommodation is well suited for larger groups, and it was convenient that every room had its own en-suite bathroom, all of which appeared to have been recently renovated. Overall, it's a comfortable and well-located place to stay for anyone looking to explore the Lake District.

Great kitchen facilities. All bedroom’s were lovely. Bar area and music system were excellent. Beers left by the owner in fridge for our arrival. 14 of us stayed and we all thoroughly enjoyed the pub and everything in Hawkshead. Great central location and we were blessed with sunshine and blue skies all weekend!
