Great family run business, short walking distance to the lake, very good breakfast. We also had a very good sleep There is no far to Aksai canyon as well as Skazka canyon

The rooms were a bit outdated but had everything that we needed. The dinner is only available in nearby hotel but food was amazing and prices reasonable

​We had a wonderful stay at Umar Guesthouse. We were warmly welcomed by the daughter of the family, who speaks fluent English and made communication effortless. The entire family: parents, grandparents, aunt live next door and were incredibly kind and welcoming, even those who didn't speak English. ​The room was clean, quiet, and opened up to a beautiful fruit garden. They kindly allowed us to pick and enjoy fresh fruits directly from the trees, the apricots and raspberries were absolutely delicious! ​Since we were just passing through briefly, we mentioned wanting to see an eagle hunting demonstration. They immediately took care of booking it for us. The mother and daughter even drove us to the show and generously offered an extra stop on the way back to show us around the area. ​On our arrival night, we hadn't planned dinner, so they recommended a hotel restaurant just a few minutes' walk away, which was excellent. (With advance notice, they can also prepare meals at the guesthouse). The next morning, the breakfast served at the guesthouse was delicious! ​We are so glad we stayed here and would love to return if we ever visit the region again.
