It is owned by a very welcoming family. The place is very clean and the bedding is comfortable. I had a room with a balcony, and needless to say the view was spectacular. It rained when I stayed there, so it was a nice retreat to stay in and read a book while listening to the rain:)

The hot water stopped working in the middle of my shower. But I was almost done, so it was doable lol

We booked this guesthouse last minute as the one we booked was cancelled on us. We stayed 2 night. They were welcoming and hospitable. Speaks little English, but there are always other guides around to help with the translation. Shower facility is great (rain shower only) with good water pressure! Nice view out the windows.

They were doing some painting during our stay. they gave us a groundfloor room, knowing that they will be painting the groudfloor the days we were staying. . It was impossible to rest in the guesthouse during the afternoon as the smell of the paint was so over powering that I had a headache from it. They did change a room for us in the evening when we told them about it. Understand that it was low season and they were refurbishing, but maybe with better planning and put us on a higher floor and not next to the rooms where they were painting. Dinner was 900 Som/Pax. = $11Usd/pax. Which is a little steep imo. Considering if we are a couple and paying USD$22 for the same meal. (appetiser, soup and a main) and mostly it being potatoes, its not very worth it. Will be better if there is another choice of main dish to choose from to make up for the price tag. They ask me if I want o go horseriding for the next day, It was quite a cost for me to bear as i'll be alone and paying the a total of 3500soms. I asked if they have groups going for horseriding for the next day which i can join. They said no. There were 2 tours heading out the next day. =(
