About this cabin rental
Take a load off at Lazy Bear Cottage, a cute cabin nestled on the side of the mountain that will accommodate up to 6 guests! This privately owned two-bedroom, two-bath cabin offers stunning mountain views, central location and everything you need to call it home.
When you arrive, you will be greeted with warmth and a home full of custom furnishings, decorations and everything you may need for your perfect vacation. The inside is open and spacious will tall vaulted cathedral ceilings, plenty of windows for natural light and an open kitchen/dining/living room space in the front of the home. The living room is equipped with a queen sleeper sofa, flat screen tv with DISH satellite service and high-speed wireless internet service. The owner's suite has a king size bed and its own full bath. The secondary bedroom offers a queen size bed and its own bathroom that can be accessed from the bedroom or the hallway.
Love to entertain and cook? The fully stocked kitchen is ready for your expertise with plenty of space to easily seat your party. Outside you will find a huge wrap-around porch overlooking the woods on one side and the long-range mountain views on the other. Light up the grill or sit by the fire pit and enjoy doing a whole lot of nothing!
The cabin is just minutes from Dillsboro, Sylva and Franklin where you can find dining, over a half-dozen breweries, shopping, historic Main Street activities and festivals, rafting, hiking and so much more all within 15 or so minutes. Take a drive over to the Nantahala for some of the best whitewater rafting around, press your luck in Cherokee at the Harrahs Casino or shoot over to Maggie Valley for snow skiing in the winter, all a quick 30-35 minutes drive away! Everything you need is at this cabin. Super clean, quick drive to anything you’d want to do. Excellent restaurants near by. We enjoyed it stay and will be back!

The cabin was great. Location made it easy for day trips. It was truly a home away from home for our trip. Well decorated and well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit and the supply of wood. Communication with host was exceptional. We will be back!

Super clean, organized, well stocked, lots of space for our stuff.Great communication with host.First time up road & driveway required really paying attention, after that it was no problem.Lovely accents to make space beautiful and comfortable.

Location and view is good but the drive way is not good. Our car got stuck when going down the hill to the Cabin. Probably not safe for kids since there is no fence. Bathroom are not clean. Bathroom can be more cleaner. We had so much hope grilling but grill is all rusty, as soon as we open the grill we closed it. Overall ok experience.
