Property backed up to open rice paddy fields; friendly villagers; safe neighborhood; newness of the home; layout and beauty of the home; outdoor showers (2); wonderful and responsive hosts; pool is amazing! Views!

Location isn't walkable to much of anything; some small things like robes, laundry detergent, coffee maker would have been great (they did provide a coffee maker when asked); BBQ grill didn't work to begin with, but was later fixed; neighborhood cat was a menace

From a design perspective, the villa is truly beautiful — it has great potential. However, the maintenance and cleanliness standards do not match the price or the photos shown online.

We stayed in this villa with high expectations, as the photos made it look new and luxurious. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we found that the reality was very different. The villa feels old, worn out, and poorly maintained. The cabinets were stained, the trash bins were extremely dirty and had a bad smell. The outdoor sofa was covered in mold. The edges of the pool are green and clearly need proper scrubbing with bleach. There is a lingering smell throughout the villa from previous guests’ cooking or stay. We also noticed trash between the tiles and around the villa area. The LED lights in the pool area are peeling off. From a design perspective, the villa is truly beautiful — it has great potential. However, the maintenance and cleanliness standards do not match the price or the photos shown online. We sincerely recommend that the owners either properly renovate and maintain the villa, give it a cosmetic refresh, or adjust the pricing accordingly. It is unpleasant to stay in a place that looks so different from what is advertised. We travel around Bali frequently and have plenty of experience to compare. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations.
