We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was simply but beautifully decorated and stayed cool and quiet at night. The medina is very walkable and the location of this riad was perfect on a quieter street between the main diagonal and the city gates. There’s a lot of reviews saying how friendly and welcoming the staff are and how fantastic a host Fatima - we honestly couldn’t agree with this enough. It felt like being welcomed into a home everyday without being in any way overbearing and definitely added to the experience!
Very minor and not a concern for us but if I were working remotely, the WiFi probably wouldn’t have been strong enough for calls etc. Some power outlets with bedside lamps would also have been great.

The lady who runs the riad was absolutely amazing. She made us feel very at home, genuinely taken care of. The riad is well designed and feels like a quiet place inside the busy Medina. Step outside and you are in the heart of Essaouira. Highly recommended and would stay again when visiting Essouira

The staff was super friendly and helpful, great breakfast. Even made it possible for us to have breakfast when we had to leave early in the morning. Nice authentic rooms.

Fatima was very friendly
Location, not a particularly nice street, very noisy as windows open onto courtyard, we could hear a staff member talking on the phone until late, no A/C, we asked if we could borrow a fan but nothing available, room very dark and claustrophobic
