About this house rental
Silverlake is a luxury private estate nestled in an extensive nature reserve, near to the coast in West Dorset. Opportunity for adventure abounds with water sports, a private beach, cycling trails, woodland walks, tennis, table tennis and forest playgrounds available on site.
All our properties here at Silverlake, Dorset have strict rules to ensure a family friendly atmosphere. Our properties must strictly be used for holiday purposes only and not for working in and or using to commute to and from a place of work. Stag and Hen parties are strictly not allowed at any of our properties, and we reserve the right to cancel your booking if you break the estate rules.
Drake's nest is a stunning contemporary lakeside property with it's own jetty for lake access, a hot tub and versatile accommodation for up to 12 guests (including the use of a sofa bed). We recommend the property is suitable for a maximum of 10 adults and 2 children owing to the sleeping configuration.
As we take pride in prepping the hot tub for each guest stay the water may not be up to temperature by the time you arrive on site, but rest assured, that the water will be blissfully warm and enjoyable for your second night with us.
Access to the activity equipment is included with this property, offering plenty to do while staying at Silverlake. Inclusive equipment hire includes bikes and water equipment such as paddleboards, kayak and canoes, subject to availability.
Please note that there are properties on the estate undergoing construction in various phases. Bookings for this property are made on the understanding that you may see and hear construction, machinery and workers from 0730 to 1800, Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1300 on Saturdays. Please do abide by any signage relating to construction areas. All photographs and property descriptions are correct at the time of being added to the property listing. The versatile accommodation in this contemporary home provides space for 10-12 guests. On the ground floor is a bunk room that sleeps four (top bunks suitable for children only), a king-size bedroom with en-suite, and a sofa bed in the ground floor living area. Completing the downstairs accommodation is the family bathroom (bath with shower over).
On the first floor is a second living area with a log burner for cosy nights in, a fully fitted kitchen and a large balcony. Completing the first floor is a king-size bedroom with a separate shower room and WC.
The second floor provides a further super-king room with zip and link beds and a large en-suite shower room. The super-king room can be split into two single beds if required (please advise at time of booking).
