Quaint self contained cottage near Edinburgh.

Braeside cottage was absolutely fantastic to stay at! My husband and I had a very comfortable stay and a really lovely time walking around the local village and seeing some of the sites further into the city. The cottage is beautifully furnished, the kitchen and bathroom was spacious and modern, the bed was extremely comfy, the garden was gorgeous and the hosts gave us such a warm welcome with a lovely hand written welcome card and a thoroughly detailed book on all their available amenities and local recommendations. Check in was super easy; Jackie even came and met us at the door to show us how to open the lock box and the cottage. She even gave us a very helpful tip about booking online for the castle and saved us a few pounds! Overall, Braeside Cottage was an excellent place to stay! Jackie and Jarrod have done a fantastic job in creating a beautiful home away from home.

We stayed here for our wedding and it was absolutely stunning. A beautiful spot well worth visiting again for our anniversary! Our hosts Jackie and Jarrod were just the best making our stay even more special than it already was.

A beautifully decorated home with everything you could need — comfortable, tasteful furniture throughout, and a lovely garden that's perfect for relaxing on sunny days. The location is great too, with good bus connections to the center and plenty of shops and restaurants just a short walk away. The hosts were very willing to help with anything we needed, and I really loved that they shared the history of the house with us — such a nice personal touch. Highly recommend!

All great

Een bijzonder gezellig ingerichte cottage. Kraakhelder. Keuken van alle gemakken voorzien (waaronder vaatwasser en wasmachine/droger).
