About this house rental
2023 new construction extra wide townhouse at 240 22nd Avalon, NJ. One of the most unique opportunities to hit rental market on Avalon’s Seven Mile Island, sits this massively oversized 5 bedroom, 5 full bathroom and 2 powder room townhome, walking distance to everything in town and just 3 blocks to the beach. The is the ONLY new construction rental in Avalon/Stone Harbor NJ that is PET FRIENDY. Due to the size of the lot, which measures 80Ft wide by 110Ft deep, this town home consists of 2,870 Sq Ft of living space, which is almost 950Sq Ft larger than most town homes in Avalon and feels as wide as a single family home. Storage space is not an issue, as the entire grade level will allow for plenty of bikes, beach and pool gear. The exterior will include HardiePlank ‘Light Mist’ siding, beautiful ledgestone wrapped around the entire foundation, and a combination of Ipe and Mahogany decking and soffit on the front porch, with other decks being Fiberglassed. Two large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are found on the first floor, including a full laundry room. Well, the house was great but the pre check in and check in process and instructions were lacking for the price point. The owner, Kevin was very responsive, if a little late with some pertinent info and actions. We have used VRBO before and have never had to bring bedsheets and towels. Kevin did make us aware of this 3 hours prior to arrival via text through the app which we obviously did not get in time and should have been noted in prior texts! We had to scramble to solve the problem unnecessarily. He did offer to SPLIT the cost but there was no linen rental service that was open so we had to scramble. It’s logical that the bulk of the rentals are summer but that was unexpected.All the instructions were quite a bit lacking.For example, no turning up the water heater instructions, no instructions with the Nest thermostats which were not responsive at all after we figured them out. There was no iron provided which was quite necessary with wedding attire we were all wearing for the weekend. Kevin did purchase one for us that we did pick up. Some of the pots and pans in the kitchen were still dirty in spots. The QuickSet door lock took about was hard to operate and no instructions but we figured it out eventually. Basically it seemed like the house wasn’t checked at all prior to our arrival for comprehensive instructions and necessities. But we made it work and the weekend was great!

The house was beautiful and the pool open in October was an added bonus. The owner was very quick to answer my questions through out the who process! Loved that each bedroom had it's own bathroom! We would definitely stay here again!
