The location is honestly the best you can get in Rome. Walking distance from all the big hot spots and also close to Travestere for lovely dinners.

The bed was a little on the hard side

The location was right off Campo di Fiori - so that was very nice to be able to go to market there and beyond to other sites. The host was very receptive to needs, anything we asked for or told him was a problem was taken care of quickly. He also made suggestions for places to eat, etc.

We booked late and so did not have a lot of choice. It was bigger than we needed. 2 bathrooms, 1 bedroom and 1 sitting room with a futon. But it was an odd layout so we couldn't easily use the whole area as one "apartment". It used to be (maybe sometimes is?) 2 separate units. So to get from one area to the other, you step out and down, into the 'hall', then up and into the second unit. We only went into the 2nd unit to use 2nd toilet and the hair dryer (one in bath we used was broken). For two couples the way it was separated would perhaps be not a problem. There were alot of tiny fixes that the host could make that would make the unit feel more well kept and comfortable. It was not a problem for us, but it was up alot of windy stairs with multiple doors to unlock. If you have big bags or have trouble going up alot of stairs this is not for you.
