Argo Villa Kalives

Lovely clean villa with everything anyone needs. Close to Kalyves village which gave us the experience of Cretan culture, lovely Greek food and friendly people.

Location, aspect, inside and outside space and facilities. Well thought through management. Caring & helpful host.

A house manual to refer to throughout the stay would have been really helpful.

The villa is beautiful, spacious and so super clean. The hosts were incredible. They had literally thought about everything.

There are no negative points about the villa. The walk from the village to the villa would be a challenge for someone with a physical disability.

There was genuinely nothing we didn't like about this villa. It is perfect. Exactly as it looks and as described. The villa was clean, tidy and had everything we needed from a TV, games, books and DVDs to towels, pool towels and a washing machine. The kitchen was perfectly well equipped, the pool was fantastic and it was only a five minute walk down to the beach and restaurants and shops. The walk involves a slight couple of slopes on the way back but on a couple of occasions with shopping we simply asked the restaurant for a taxi and it was around five euros. The owners of the villa were also very kind and helpful both in communication before the holiday and for whatever we needed when we were there. Jason even took us to the supermarket when we first arrived to get some bulk supplies in. I really would stay here again. Kalyves is a perfect little Greek village for a week's switch off and your own peaceful oasis at the villa by the pool.
