Argo Villa Kalives

The property was large which meant we had room to spread out as a family of teenagers and early 20’s. The villa was spotless and well maintained. The pool was perfect - just the right size and all the family enjoyed having it all to themselves. The villa was well located, being a short walk from the centre. Jason and Gail were perfect hosts, taking us to the supermarket on our first day and giving us a tour of the area and invaluable local knowledge. The resort was also perfect for us - not too lively or over commercialised but plenty of bars and excellent places to eat. The pace of life was perfect; laid back and chill. It felt very safe. We loved it.

Nothing at all - just the walk up the hill at night! Nothing to put us off though as if you were tired, a taxi would take a few minutes and would cost around £5 euros

Lovely clean villa with everything anyone needs. Close to Kalyves village which gave us the experience of Cretan culture, lovely Greek food and friendly people.

Location, aspect, inside and outside space and facilities. Well thought through management. Caring & helpful host.

A house manual to refer to throughout the stay would have been really helpful.
