Wendy and Mark were fantastic hosts and made us feel incredibly welcome. The kids loved interacting with the kittens, baby goats and lambs wandering around the farm, and despite running a working farm, Wendy and Mark happily took time to show us around. Breakfast was delicious and home-cooked — eggs your way, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, plus coffee or tea. The accommodation was spacious, with a huge TV, separate bedroom, sofa bed, large bathroom and kitchenette. We could even charge our EV while the solar was running! Lake Campaspe is within walking distance for fishing, although the fish weren't cooperating with us. A lovely bonus: Wendy is an artist, and the beautiful artwork around the property is her own!
Honestly, very little! We didn't catch any fish despite trying our luck at Lake Campaspe — but we can hardly blame Wendy and Mark for that!

Great location, peaceful and relaxing. Hosts are friendly, welcoming and hospitable. First class cooked breakfast. Lots of animals, all friendly and no bother. Birdsong everywhere.
