People with allergies must avoid that place

Quiet place, well equipped kitchen, fire place outside with discreet light, possibility to eat in the garden, parking place.

Due to poor ventilation in the bathroom, black mold is visible on the walls. Moisture seeps into the carpet in the adjacent room, causing it to rot, which results in a strong musty smell in the bedroom (people with allergies may experience breathing difficulties).

No soap, body wash, shampoo, tea, coffee or sugar supplied. Location incorrect, 25a trevose close but no sign on property.

Well thought out accommodation, everything you needed.

Pulled up at the house number, to find it was next door, not 25. Difficult to know in the rain and dark. Luckily people at 25 said it was next door , but often happens.

Fit the bill for event we were attending.

Great location for the wedding we were attending and having kitchen was handy. Outside space looked lovely.

Bathroom wasn’t great - very dated and shower pressure was pretty poor given what we paid for two nights. Seemed to be a disconnect between the finish of bathroom and style/ decor of the rest of the property. Slight damp issue in bedroom where you can see marking on ceiling/ top of the walls. Bed unfortunately wasn’t comfy. Was definitely expecting a more high finish property.

'Howlyek' : HOME on your Holiday

My sister and I liked the comfort and the style of this accommodation. It was beautifully laid out, with the essential furniture. We liked the breakfast bar, to eart our meals, but had the weather been dry it would have been lovely to eat on the outside table with string of lights above us. There is a good kitchen, with gas hob and electric oven. There isn't a microwave, but we took our own. We used the washing machine, the shower and toilet both worked as you would expect. There is a very elaborate satellite television, which confused us a bit, but younger people will find hundreds of channels relevant to their world. The location is excellent, with off-street parking at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, and an easy walk through the estate to the back of the main street. However, we only lived one street away for more than thirty years so we did know the place very well. WE plan to try 'Howlyek' again next time we want to stay in St Agnes

The B&B was ideal for what we needed for our short stay

it was nice and clean and fresh - comfortable beds - and decent shower A good space and local for a short stay as we were down for my brothers 80th birthday who lives in St Agnes

it was a shame there was no microwave! Handy to have with children for quick meals etc. It would have been nice also to have more loo rolls and washing up liquid as we had to go out and buy them straight away !!

Pleasant

Evidence of mould and damp throughout house on walls, ceiling and stains in carpet from a leak, crack in plug socket. In bathroom mirror only has 1 screw and shelf falling off. Lady appeared at 3.30 with toilet roll and to collect washing and left tumble dryer on for 2 hours -v loud. Holes and stain on bed sheet, bedding not ironed. Can’t have window open otherwise heater in lounge flashes a warning at you. No oven gloves or tea towels. Obviously a lovely property in great location but feels a little neglected. And didn’t expect to have clothes under beds and toys in the second bedroom - felt odd and that you were staying in someone else’s house not a holiday home.

Did not have microwave, which we did not pick up when looking at facilities. Booking .com did not provide code for lock box, had to ring owner in Portugal whom was very helpful. Washing machine was in use when we arrived at 5.30 possibly by cleaners.
