We stayed at this caravan for 2 nights, off season. Nothing in the park was open but we contacted the pony trekking which is attached to the site and they were incredibly helpful and arranged for the children to do a pony trek midweek, which was really nice of them and thoroughly enjoyed. The caravan itself was lovely - warm, cosy and really comfortable.
It would have been nice to have some sharp knives for cooking and the oven didn't seem to be getting up to temperature, but nothing insurmountable.

Comfortable, plenty of space, a nice welcome tray with treats and brew stuff after a long drive it was needed. WiFi was great too

It was bright & comfortable. Had everything you would need for a self catering holiday.
It is within well kept grounds in a beautiful area and is extremely peaceful.
The TV/Sky service did not work at all due to the internet connection. There was no signal the whole time of our stay. The guest WiFi was non existent and we had no way of communicating with anyone as a result. Ideal if you wish to disappear and enjoy peace and quiet. Not so good for us. The only place we could connect to the the guest WiFi was within the Bar. Even then, the signal would come and go. The whole park was deserted. The staff and activity organisers were even talking about how quiet it was. We booked activities for our boys every day. They lasted for 1 hour (costing approx £80) once that was done there wasn’t much else for them to do (other than walk or pay for another activity) The indoor pool was dated and really dirty. It also cost extra and had terrible changing facilities. We drove every day into Newton Stewart & also purchased DVDs, board games and cards) from charity shops (which we left for future guests) so we could at least have something to do together in the evenings.
