About this house rental
A traditional semi detached house on the edge of our farm , the house is tastefully decorated and has homely furnishings with three bedrooms , large lounge , kitchen diner , bathroom and shower room , a large open lawn to the rear of the property and country and sea views of Luce Bay to the front . We are just 7 mls east of Stranraer and an ideal place to stay for visiting the many gardens and golf courses , bird watching , cycling , walking , and just enjoying the many miles of coastline in the area . We accept booking from Saturday to Saturday .

A very comfortable and warm house,we all enjoyed ourselves,4 adults and the dogs!Joan and her husband were very friendly,we were welcomed by Joan on our arrival.It was hsrd to.leave as we were settled and comfortable. Another lovely part of Dumfries and Galloway.We enjoyed the animals on the farm.Thanks again for making us feel welcome,the welcome tray of goodies also .Happy New Year.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Nice cottage with all you need for a comfortable stay. The owners are lovely and friendly and on hand if you need anything. We were a little bit shocked at the cost to run the storage heaters for the week. An addition of a wood burning stove would really help with this, although there is an allowance of the first £20 of electricity used to help. Lovely area with lots to see and do. Would recommend. Thank you both for a lovely stay.

Really nice cottage with lots of space. The ponies and alpacas were a delight. Good size for 4 adults and two kids.

Very pleasantly surprised on arrival by size of the house, bigger than it looks in the photos. Spotlessly clean, felt very safe, with lovely thoughtful touches. Very welcoming.There is a railway line opposite to the house but the impact was minimal to the peaceful location. Weather wasn't great but the house was still cosy.
