Lovely wee cottage, extremely well thought out and put together, and I greatly enjoyed my stay. They’ve gone the extra mile leaving dog treats for my dog, coffee pods for the coffee maker , condiments etc that create a great first impression. The shower was fantastic, the kitchen well equipped and overall the owners have done a great job as the cottage was spotlessly clean. The only negatives are I would say the mattress isn’t the best I’ve ever slept on and there was a disappointing lack of firewood, not enough for even one evening. I bought more firewood locally and the log burner was fantastic, really making the cottage cozy and warm. One suggestion I have is to include recycling information, ie what goes in what bin, in the welcome pack as it’s very confusing if your new to the area as different council areas have different policies, bin colours etc.
