Everything!!!! The view was incredible, the cottage was clean and homely. The beds were very comfortable with ample towels provided. The skylight windows allowed you to watch the stars whilst lying in bed. Hot tub didn’t take too long to warm and was stunning. Staff were so helpful, a lady walked us to our cottage and also came back to check we had lit the log burner okay for the hot tub and even brought extra fire lighters in case we needed them.

Beautiful location

The location is beautiful, surrounded by fields, farms and mountain views. Parking is available on the driveway directly outside the cottage. The reception was easy to find in the dark and we were escorted to the cottage by the friendly staff member. The bedrooms both having ensuite bathrooms is great, with good showers. The living area is good for a social gathering being open plan.

We tried but failed to light the hot tub, this may have been the weather or our skills, but more fuel would have helped. The cottage was clean enough to enjoy our stay. But we found rubbish from previous guests suggesting it hadn't been vacuumed throughout. Generally, we felt like a deep clean was needed. The kitchen was small but equipped well, but a baking tray would be great. I would stay here again as the benefits well outweighed the issues.

Perfect place to visit Cadir Idris

Great location, fantastic accommodation, really comfy beds The cottage was just what we needed located in a quiet place with use of a hot tub. Accommodation was very clean and well appointed Starbucks and shop just up the road

Minor details as overall cottage was perfect We felt that there was not enough ventilation in the bedrooms but we did stay on the hottest day of the year. Also a welcome pack would have been nice with maybe a bit of milk Like I said minor things that really didn’t spoil the stay

Take your own fly spray

Lovely scenery

Had an infestation of house fly at least 100 in the house , kitchen area mainly , text the help line , message was read but no reply , asked the young girl on site for some fly spray , said she would go get some , never came back , spent the night fly swotting , in the morning there was as many again , very disappointed

Hot water lasted no more than 5 mins, had to get out with shampoo still in my hair. Hot tub was not supplied with enough wood so had to buy more. Kitchen wasn’t very good at all, fridge had no shelves in it!! The pans were burnt and unusable so we couldn’t cook and had to get a takeaway

Beautiful Cottage in Welsh Countryside

Beautiful location, good facilities and very clean. The contact from the staff before the stay were excellent. Had no need to contact them during the visit. The location was ideal for our needs (charity walk starting in Dolgellau) and there were plenty of shops, pubs and places to eat nearby. The cottage had everything we needed and the extra touches like blankets and games were lovely.

Nothing to complain about - only minor issues were that the TV stopped working at one point (assume this was due to the weather affecting the signal, not a massive issue at all) and we had a couple of nighttime visitors (bats - but we were in the countryside so got to expect to see some nature lol). Won't let this affect the raring though as not the owners fault at all.

Level of cleanliness not great. Hot tub only had enough wood for 1 night. Dishwasher didn’t work + no instructions. Driveway steep and just loose gravel. Not easy parking.

Lovely stay here for a couple, beautiful location.

Beautiful building and location. Easy to get to Mach Loop and Dolgellau, saw lots of planes up Cad West which was our reason for coming. Staff helpful when needed otherwise you don’t see anyone.

No utensils, windows were dirty, some areas needed a deeper clean and lots of lights with no bulbs. Most of the cutlery and cups were dirty. There was a small BBQ but again no utensils. Hot tub took ages warm up and then we couldn’t get the plug out which they ask you to do before you leave. Check in, is quite late at 4pm and check out is 10am.

A little tired looking needing a refresh, hot tub not put on in advance so we didn’t have the opportunity to use it. Staircase and dining table wobble and don’t feel secure. Check out us earlier than most places.

Lovely stay, would love to come again.

We really enjoyed our stay, the property is cosy and warm. We loved the hot tub and the views were beautiful. We really appreciated the cotbed for our son and especially the toddler booster for the dining table, that’s something I’ve never been provided before which I loved. The area is central and accessible to everywhere. Highly recommended

We loved everything

We arrived on the Friday, the main reason for booking was the hot tub. It would have been nice to have it ready when we arrived, it was a wood burning tub and it took 41/2 hrs for it reach a temperature that we could use. Also sounds a bit trivial but there was no shelves in the fridge, we had to pile are food on top of each other.

The cottage was lovely, it was clean, spacious, bedding and towels were good quality, and overall we had an amazing experience. The staff was really helpful when we've ran out of the wood for the hot tub, so easy to communicate. Very thoughtful, thank you for putting a happy birthday banner for our daughter. The hot tub experience was really good.

Great Location, Lovely Clean Place, Good Communication and the hot tub was really relaxing!

Great location, great place, clean, tidy, main beds were comfy and showers were good. The hot tub was the main feature, very good to relax in after a long day walking. Great communication and clear instructions from the owners. Would highly recommend and would love to go back at some point.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. I slept on it one night and didn’t get any sleep. The other beds were very comfy though. The driveway was very difficult to manoeuvre on due to the incline and pebbles. The shower looks like it’s about to come through the ceiling into the living room. It would be good to have details of recycling bins / waste bins nearby so we could have disposed of our empties.

Parking the cars on the stone drive way was a bit of a nightmare with it being on a incline the wheels were spinning however reception parking was a few metres away.

Nice well appointed cottage but the hot tub failed miserably

The cottage is very good with plenty of space, warm and lots of tea and coffee. Comfy beds and good bathrooms

The first night we went to set up the hot tub after we had been out and couldn't find the matches - no issue we would use the hot tub on the second day. Started the fire at 4.30 and at 6.30 it was roaring so we added more logs and then went out to a local pub. Water was tepid at the time. When we got back just over an hour and a half later the fire had gone out and the water was tepid so no chance of using it !!! It could have been the wind. The wind whistles constantly through the front door and window. Not good !!

Quick arrival no messing, was left after being shown round & not bothered for our stay which is what we wanted but we where reassured that owners & staff where always on hand if needed something. Hot tub was amazing once we got it to light haha, views are absolutely unreal. Gorgeous decor in the cottage. Would deffo stay again thank you :)
