My wife and my child we spent a 3 night break at the Safari Tent with Hot Tub near Dolgellau in august and it was a special way to explore Snowdonia. The location is excellent – the tent is on a hillside at the Torrent Walk glamping site, so you get sweeping views of the mountains and countryside . It’s convenient for local activities like Zip World, Coed y Brenin and Barmouth beach plus a fridge‑freezer, microwave, toaster and sink comfy beds with bedding and towels (with spares) and thoughtful touches like an electric heater and hot‑water bottles for cold evenings The private outside toilet and barbecue area were big bonuses After a day of walking the hills, soaking in the wood‑fired hot tub beneath the stars was a real treat, and there was plenty of wood provided to keep it going .

the light in the toilet didn’t work at night, more power sockets for hair dryers would be useful.

Nice camping site - comfortable stay!

Overall a very nice campsite situated in a very beautiful part of Wales. We were on a ledge pitch with great views. Nice safari tent with a hot tub, well equipped and we had a very comfortable stay.

Toilets and shower blocks could be updated in my opinion (having said that my son and husband thought they were fine), + addition of some power sockets would be good for hair drying! There is a bit of road noise esp. first thing in the morning.

Fun ! Different ! Enjoyable ! Would recommend the Safari Tent to anybody wishing a lovely holiday.

The private toilet was an added bonus ! as well as the hot tub and the bbq area. The location of the tent was exceptional, as we were high up and had a lovely view of the mountains. Showers were great with hot running water and very private for everybody to use on the site.

There were a couple of pans which were dirty and needed to be cleaned as well as the bbq griddle. But overall the tent was very clean to high standards with bath towels and bedding provided by the owners.

Absolutely brilliant stay will 100% return

Absolutely lovely accommodation to stay in, lots of attention to detail such as hot water bottles being provided in case it got cold overnight, electric heater etc.

Few small stains on towels however they smelt clean so I am sure they had been washed

Amazing - had such a brilliant time

Safari tent and hot tub were both amazing. Having a toilet near by was fantastic as it meant that we didn't have to walk far and could also park right outside making loading/unloading really easy. Couldn't fault the tent, beds were made up and comfortable, layout and design perfect. Great that logs were provided so that we could heat the hot tub up.

Text message with info sent after we left so it would have been better if we'd received it the night before in order to clarify what linen was included. We weren't sure if it just meant sheets or if it included duvets and pillows which it did, but we unnecessarily took sleeping bags and pillows with us. Utensils could include a sieve and the freezer compartment needs a door to stop it freezing over so that it can be used. The main down side is the fact that you can hear the traffic on main road in the morning and hate the airforce planes going over making a huge racket but that's not the campsites fault.

Great family stay

Fantastic location, close to Dolgellau village, shops, pubs and places to eat. The site and accommodation was spotless and comfy, had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend to friends and family and already have done so since returning home!

Beautiful location and scenery. Amazing hot tub also and everything you could need in the tent too. Also Starbucks just up the road for a sneaky chai lattes before driving home.

I felt having to strip the beds before departing was not necessary.

It might be a nice lil stay to pitch a tent but the lodges way overpriced and not as described at a

Beautiful place other than being close to a road. Pitching up might be worth the money even though the 'lodges' wasn't. Excellent wifi, toilets clean.

The safari lodge doesn't come with electric hot tub. It comes with a cold tub that you have to buy would to reheat and then spend a bare min of 1.5hrs heating each time you use it. Did it twice the first time it was still a lil cold the second time I had to wait for it to cool down as it takes a different amount of would depending on the weather. Alot 9f dogs off lead despites signs saying not too and some came up to us while eating to aggressively bark.....no owners in sight and yess this happened on several occasions. The 'lodge' was filthy, everything broken including bed. Be ready to clean out ur own chemical toilet at the end of ur stay.

Gorgeous luxury tent , amazing views , literally felt on top of the world looking out

The spot this safari tent on is lovely - lush views . To be able to park next to the tent is so helpful. The space provided feels luxurious and homely . The ample provisions , even given tea and coffee - the lovely bonus marshmallows was great . The room sizes , to be given towels and a roomy bathroom with a great shower all made the stay so comfortable . Having the hot tub was a godsend - our stay was over some super hot days so the cool water was so needed. I loved the look of the safari tent online and in reality it’s nicer . So many positives about this place .

I guess the thing was the nearby road noise. I know you guys can’t change that ! So I’m not going to make a massive point on it , it is a main road and I guess I was imagining being in a super quiet location . Upside of this of course is that you’ve got a very small venture out to get out and about whisky staying there .
