Triggerfish was great. We stayed one night transitioning from Caye Caulker to flying home. The pool was wonderful to lounge in on the provided floaties. We were able to walk to a great restaurant for dinner. The breakfast prior to our departure was perfect.

Cathy was super welcoming, constantly checked in on me. Great stay and great hospitality. The breakfast was great, love her fry jacks. This place gives a local vibe. Cathy set transportation for me and this place is only 5 minutes from the airport. This will be my new stay every time I come to visit my family in Ladyville.

Cathy and Don were great hosts! The rooms were clean and Cathy even cooked dinner for the 7 of us after we arrived at 5:30 pm. There are restaurants within a 15-30 minute walk, but it was nice to sit down for a while after enjoying a type “A” vacation for the past 8 days! Pool, air conditioning, hot water and a delicious meal!

I felt fortunate to stay at the Triggerfish B&B. After a very long travel day from US with delayed flights, missed water taxi and sold out flights to ambergris caye, i found this B&B gem approx 7-9 mins from airport. The place was immaculate and located on a canal with lots of birds. The hosts, Cathy and Dan, are wonderful people. Cathy’s hospitality is top notch as well as her cooking. Tip: black bean chipotle burger for dinner and fry jacks for breakfast….mmmmmm.
The room is very comfortable, chills down nicely with AC and a great shower. The screened porch is nice to hang out on in the evening. I highly recommend the Triggerfish. And I felt safe as a female solo traveler.
