From checkin to departure this family owned hotel was a pleasure to stay at. It has an amazing view of the Duoro valley and beautiful accommodations. They have a heated pool and asmall restaurant with amazing home cooked food! But best of all was the hospitality, Sergio is terrific. We highly recommend it!!!

The hotel is very well located. You can walk to visit all the tourist attractions in the beautiful and well-preserved medieval town of Monsaraz. I booked the cheapest room available and although it was nicely decorated, I didn't like it because it was tiny and had no window, just a small skylight in the ceiling.
The breakfast was simple but tasty.

If you like the idea of staying in a thoughtfully reimagined old Inn Casa Pinto should be on your list. All of the rooms are individually decorated and fitted with stone walls in the bathrooms and showers. There's a nice breakfast room inside and a small garden breakfast area for summer.
It was nice to have close access to the restaurants and shops right outside the door.
