The staff was friendly and helpful, however, we would have liked to be informed in advance that we had to bring our own towels. Also, a 24 h in advance cancelling notice would have been appreciated instead of the 7 days in advance cancelling notice.

This place isn’t called city center best hostel for no reason, the staff was very helpful with finding amazing food and places to visit. It was very comfortable sleeping there alone and the whole area was clean, including the 2 bathroom, kitchen, living room, and bed. 5 star recommendation for this hostel while in Milan

I didnt stay there. I accidentaly booked a bed in an all female room so i obviously couldnt stay there. When we (the hostel and me) realized this mistake, the hostel didnt have any other beds available but instead of canceling the trip, i decided to stay in contact with the hostel in case of somebody else canceling. So when i arrived in Milano, they still didnt have another bed so we decided i would look for another place to stay and if i find something, i would cancel and get my money back. The hostel agreed to this. So i found something and was able to sleep somewhere else, everthing fine so far. But when i asked expedia to cancel, they had to ask the hostel if this was okay and the hostel refused to give me back my money. When i asked the hostel why, they said they couldnt rebook the bed in the female room (why?) and they offered me a bed the next night (for what?). They also said they hadnt agreed to give me my money back and they had expenses because of me, when effectively they had me as a back up in case of someone canceling. i wouldve agreed at least on some of my money, i didnt get anything right now, so in effect i got scammed out of my money by the people there.
