Good central place
The place was nice in a building of flats. It is quite central.
But Vlorë beach is not nice at all. There are sewage on the beach, so we ended up driving 50 minutes do go to Dhermi, which is the closest in the Albania Riviera.

Extraordinary appartement
The appartement was well equipped, the beds comfortable and when there were problems with the Wifi, they got fixed quickly. The breakfast the next morning was very good and got prepared whenever we wanted (the appartements belong to a restaurant so they are flexible)

Our hotel experience was undeniably disappointing. Despite reserving accommodations for four people, we were greeted with a room that contained a double bed, a single bed, and a sofa. What surprised us further was the absence of sheets for the sofa, and while two of the beds were equipped with fitted sheets, there were no top sheets. Moreover, only two out of the four pillows were dressed in pillowcases. The apartment's cleanliness was below par, and the towels, which came in a variety of colors, were mostly worn and, in some cases, quite old. Our dissatisfaction extended to breakfast as well. Despite our booking including breakfast, we were informed upon arrival at the separate bar where it was served that their cook was unavailable, leaving us with unappetizing pre-prepared toast and dry croissants. Adding to our ordeal, the parking facilities and the road were far from ideal, though we acknowledged that this is a common issue in the area. Furthermore, the host's lack of friendliness was evident. We had no trouble finding the bar, but locating the apartment proved challenging as he couldn't provide clear directions. While I was attempting to navigate the car to the correct location, my friends received unfriendly comments from him. He openly expressed his aversion to Polish tourists, citing that they frequently make excessive demands, are prone to complaints, and incessantly contact him, leading him to not offer assistance to guide us to the apartment at that time. Given his discouraging comments and the lateness of the hour, we hesitated to reach out to him. However, the following morning, we approached the waiter twice to request that he contact the host so we could settle the payment. As a final note, after I left a negative review on the platform, someone claiming to be from the booking service approached me on WhatsApp, requesting that I delete the review in exchange for a refund.

Cool apartment, little fuzzy check-in/out process
We got a fully furnished apartment with good equipment. The room was just as advertised and had everything that was on the booking description. Location is second row behind the center of the beach, so barely anything to get better on this.
The breakfast process was a but confusing but as we got it in the Bonaparte café on the promenade and were quite surprised by the oppulence (vegetables, cheese, eggs, bread and some Kinder-brand cake) this was actually a plus.
We too the chance to cook our own food, which added to the good experience.
Also, we got introduced to our free and gated parking which is no certainty in the traffic packed city of Vlora. Parking was some 30 meters from the house.
Finding the apartment turned out a bit challenging but we managed. The house itself is a bit shady and the hallways are not very well maintained. It‘s no posh residence if you expect this, BUT the apartment is quite nice.
A bit annoying was the check-Out process. We waited for about 30-40 minutes in the café for the apartment guy to come. After that we were told to go to the apartment as he was checking some other people in (at noon?). When we arrived we found him and the group and asked to do a quick check out. He then said „in about 30 minutes because he has people“ - what? We should wait at the apartment, which we did .. for another 20 minutes. Very irritating the fact that a cleaning lady and the guy (!) came in to vacuum while we stood there like aliens looking at each other when to check out. After a little confusion the check out process was inspecting the money i already put on the table (my chosen amount).
Thus: Took us an hour to check out but in the end, the apartment made up for it.

Best place to stay in the city
Everything has been perfect. The apartment is brand new, very comfortable and clean. Very cool view from the balcony. Position is good, walking distance from the center and there is a private parking.
The host is the best: kind, professional and communication has been great. Very recommend!!

We only stayed for one night unfortunately. Everything went smooth and uncomplicated, even though we arrived quite late in the evening. We got some great recommendations for dinner around the area of the flat and had a great and comfortable evening in the very new and cozy apartment. Thanks again!

The apartment is super cosy and comfortable. Few steps to the beach and close to bar and restaurants. Eris, the owner, is super friendly and always available for any recommendation!I’ll definitely come back to Vlore and to Bonaparte apartments!

Die Unterkunft bietet ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
Die Aussicht auf das Meer war genauso so super wie die zentrale Lage der Unterkunft. Außerdem war es sehr ruhig.
Der Check-In war sehr nervenaufreibend, weil sich die Apartment-Zimmer in dem Hotelgebäude hinter der eigentlichen Bonaparte-Bar befinden und dies nicht erkenntlich gemacht wurde. Die zuständige und sehr höfliche Dame hat uns letztlich zu einem privaten Haus, welches eine Straße weiter lag, geführt und wir konnten dort das Auto abstellen.
Warmwasser funktionierte leider nicht.
