Casa Dei Normanni: DEA al mare

The host was very attentive and friendly. The location is great. The accommodation matched the photos, well furnished, it had everything we needed during our stay.

It was a bit dark in the room due to the small windows, but it's not a big problem in the summer.

Excellent location. Located in the centre of Cefalù and next to the beach. The apartment is perfect for a couple. Really well designed with modern and new furniture.

This was the best accommodation of our trip to Sicily. Rosalba the host was an excellent communicator and the instructions for entry to the studio apartment were explained very clearly and she sent tips on local activities and the best places to eat. We had no problem finding the place, just a 12 minute walk from the train station and self entry was easy. The apartment was very spacious and light. The furnishings including the kitchen, bathroom and shower were very modern and of a high standard. There were toiletries and plenty of toilet roll. There was a washing machine with liquid supplied, although we did not use it. Rosalba seems to have thought of everything you could possibly need on holiday. There was tea and coffee for us and there was a large bottle of water in the fridge. There was salt and pepper and a few other condiments. The coffee machine was excellent. The location was perfect, on a very quaint street, and a few minutes walk to the Cathedral, the beach, and many cafes and restaurants and the beautiful boutiques. As Rosalba had supplied enormous beach towels, we were able to go and relax on the beach for the day. Highly recommended!!

Abbiamo sofferto il freddo. I termosifoni non erano accesi e il condizionatore non riscaldava abbastanza la stanza. Impossibile fare la doccia perché bagno freddissimo. Ci siamo dovuti riscaldare con il phon. Uno dei principali problemi riguarda l’assenza di oscuranti alle finestre, le tende non sono sufficienti e ciò rende difficile riposare adeguatamente, soprattutto al mattino quando la luce entra senza alcun filtro. Inoltre, nel bagno è presente un lucernario direttamente sulla stanza, da cui entra molta luce, compromettendo ulteriormente il comfort e la privacy.
