The traditional style of the accommodation was brilliant and the owner was also lovely (sorry I forgot his name!!). The surrounding area and village was beautiful and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Izu. I’d especially recommend going in early April as this is when the cherry blossom was out and really added to our experience. Arigatou gozimashta!
General cleanliness of the house was perhaps sub par, put this was the only downside I could pick out and wasn’t that big of a thing for me personally.

古民家を改造して居住空間を作るとこうなるんだと勉強になった。鶏を飼っていて、良い種類の鳥のことを知ることができた。
〇チェックイン時（まだ５時すぎ）に、チェクイン説明をするオーナーがお酒臭かった
〇タオル、石鹸、シャンプー＆コンディショナーそしてエアコンすべてに課金システムであること。サイトを見たときに”（有料）”くらいの記載しかなく、これほどすべてに課金されるとはあまり理解できず。これで将来的なリピーターを相当なくしているのでは？
〇建物の構造上、夜中１２時近くまで他人の話し声がうるさすぎ耳栓をしても起こされた。オーナーに注意してもらいたくても夜はメッセージや電話に回答してもらえず。
