Good stay for a couple

I loved the location in a quiet area of paleokastritsa nearby restaurants and supermarkets. I loved the comfort of the loft. It felt safe and comfortable. The AC was great in the heat and I liked that the owners left games to play

My only complaint is that there’s a lot of ants on the balcony and at one point there was a big trail of hundreds of ants. It put me off using the balcony which was the point of booking the loft so I felt a little disappointed here

Review for Eleni’s Guesthouse, Paleokastritsa The place itself is lovely — clean, well kept, and exactly as described. Maria was likeable, responsive, and clearly puts effort into managing things efficiently. However, guests should be aware that access to the property depends on sending a photo of your passport or ID via WhatsApp before check-in. This requirement was not disclosed in advance and left us with no real choice but to comply in order to avoid sleeping outside. While the intention may be practical, this process is not compliant with EU data-protection law (GDPR) and exposes guests to unnecessary privacy and security risks. It is effectively coercive — you must transmit sensitive personal data through an insecure channel to receive the entry code. Although Maria herself appears trustworthy, the practice of small business owners collecting and storing ID copies creates a moral hazard for misuse — comparable to leaving carbon copies of credit-card transactions behind. Booking.com was informed but provided no meaningful support, citing a non-existent “property policy.” This indicates a serious compliance issue. In short: a pleasant and well-kept place, but with significant concerns regarding privacy, transparency, and lawful data handling. Future guests should be informed of these practices before booking.

Great apartment near the beach, bars and restaurants.

The property was well positioned. It was next to the bus stop from the airport. It was really clean and well resourced. Large terrace. Great restaurants, bars and beaches within walking distance. We loved it! We would book again.

Very enjoyable stay.

Apartment very well situated, handy for shops, restaurants and beaches, within easy walking distance. The close contact and prompt reactivity of the team to resolve a small problem. They were extremely friendly and efficient.

A pleasant stay

The location is convenient, next to the bus stop, shops, beaches (the water was ice cold though). The hosts are super friendly, answering really fast. The room looked clean and had all the necessary amenities, and even more.

The bed sinks in the middle, and the pillows are super uncomfortable. They feel fine when you touch them, but sleeping in them feels like sleeping in the rock. We had back and shoulders pain because of this every single day. The biggest issue for me was a huge spot of black mold on the ceiling above the shower. I understand, that it's humid there, but it would be great to wash it out with a special detergent.

Amazing communication from Eleni during our stay! Location was perfect, situated between the two best beaches in our opinion. The flat was beautiful and the terrace was incredible. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Dreamy apartment with the best view

Location was ideal ! Felt we were in the heart of this cute village. The apartment was really cute and the balcony scenery was epic. Lots of great trees and plants / flowers to admire.

Very comfortable.

The location was fantastic and the property was filled with all the essential amenities as well as the complimentary products such as the wine and orange juice.

Very small issue with the fact that the curtains let in a lot of light as soon as the sun came up in the morning. As we stayed in studio number 2, there was a window directly opposite the bed which faced the sun rising in the morning. As a result, the sun would flood the room with light at early hours in the morning as the thin white curtains did not block out much of the light. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay and we would most definitely love to come back!

An extremely enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this property.

The property was in an excellent location, close to tavernas and supermarkets. The main beach was a fifteen minute walk away but was very busy. However, there are smaller local beaches to discover and some remote beaches like Rovinia if you were prepared to walk or had a car.

Easy access to a variety of beaches. Close to a good little supermarket with fresh bread in the mornings. Ideal for walking into mountains and surrounding areas for medium fitness.

We were at the start taken aback that seating area was close to the road but later on realised that a lot of properties were equally so. It did mean that we hardly used it with the exception of the lovely terrace and table to sit out for breakfast etc.

Cozy appartement in good location to explore Corfu

Well-equipped, cozy and spacious loft appartement with a nice terrace. Close to the beach, many restaurants and a very good diving centre. Also a good starting point for hikes. In the beginning of June, parking at the street was easy, however I could imagine that Paleokastritsa will be busier in July/August. Eleni is super nice and gave us an amazing welcome package.

While the kitchen is in general well-equipped, there was unfortunately no salt/pepper/olive oil etc. As the appartements are exposed to the main street, you might hear some cars and bike during the night. In the loft appartements, partly quite low ceiling heights where we bumped our heads.

This studio has all the ammenities that you could need for a short stay from the washing machine to the expresso maker. It is quite new and everything looked clean.

Check in is too late and check out is too soon especially because they won't let you leave your luggage for free and if you are not travelling with a car is a problem. The two small studios are one in front of the other so there is little privacy.

One of the best spots to stay in Paleokastritsa as its still at the main road and very close to beaches but in a more quiet part of the area. The hosts were super nice, totally recommend this place.

Exceptional

The perfect place to stay in Paleokastritsa. Classy stylish apartment, so clean and cosy, with everything you might need. There is even Nespresso coffee machine that made us feel absolutely like home and enjoy a good coffee for breakfast every morning (coffee capsules are sold in the nearby supermarket and cost peanuts). We stayed in Loft 2 with a beautiful veranda and stunning sea view. Having breakfast or lunch there felt like being in a good restaurant with a view. The guesthouse is located in a middle of the village close to the best beach of Paleokastritsa (Agia Triada) with crystal clear water and sunbeds. Also it's a walking distance to very good restaurants and bars, a bakery shop and a supermarket is next door as well as a lovely cocktail bar. Also, the restaurant in place (Gran Aladin) serves delicious greek cuisine. Many thanks to Maria, Spiros, Bjorne for all the care and support while our holidays that made the time spent in Paleokastritsa unforgettable.

Maybe it's worth mentioning that there is a mansard roof with chamfered corners in Loft 2 that can be a bit inconvenient for tall people. However, it didn't make any discomfort to us.

Everything was perfect! I just think The mattress and bedding were uncomfortable otherwise everything was fine. We had a problem with the air conditioning and we called very late in the night because it was very hot and after few minutes someone came for help us. We really appreciated it !

A Fabulous Week in Corfu

Highly recommend loft 2 if available. The large veranda was a wonderful space for morning coffee and dinners overlooking the bay. Spotless, comfy bed, great cook’s kitchen. Really a special place to stay and Maria is a wonderful host.

Exceeded my expectations and provided an addition to our memorable experience on Corfu.

Amenities, proximity to beach and value were great for this property. Firstly, we had access to a full kitchen which made it convenient to purchase food at the grocery store and prepare food at the property to stay on an economical budget. Secondly, we couldn’t be closer to the ocean as it was right across the street and in close walking distance to restaurants, bars and sights.

Seriously impressed with everything at Eleni’s Guesthouse. Communication prior to arrival was great, very clear instructions sent for the location and self check in process, and very quick replies to any questions I had beforehand. Upon arrival it was super easy to find the guesthouse (well signposted) with parking available right outside the property on the roadside. The studio itself was spacious and comfortable, there was a snack tray and drinks in the fridge, tea and coffee, detergent for washing clothes - every detail had been considered. I was travelling solo and happened to bump into Eleni as I was checking into the property and she immediately made me feel super welcome. I even met some of her family during the stay and i honestly felt like I was staying with a friend. In the coming days Eleni was available on WhatsApp for any questions, and also organised a boat trip for me (which was amazing). The property was lovely and couldn’t fault it, but it’s the host that really makes a stay 10/10 - thank you to Eleni and her family for making my trip so memorable :) Would 100% stay here again next time I’m in Corfu.

We had one of the studios on the ground floor for two persons. The rooms were clean and equipped with all everyday necessities for the kitchen (e.g. a refrigerator, dishes for four persons, pans, a stove and a little oven, a delonghi coffee machine for pads as well as a regular coffee machine, towels, toothpicks, a corkscrew, etc.) and the bathroom (e.g. toilet paper, four big and four small towels, a washing machine and two detergent pods, a clothes drying rack with pegs, a washing bowl, shampoo and shower gel). The bed was very comfortable and the bed box offered additional/replacement blankets and bed linen. Each studio has it's own veranda with a dining table and two sunbeds. The guesthouse offered free WiFi and a smart-TV with the possibility to connect via Netflix, Youtube, etc. with your own account or to mirror IOS smartphones. The room was equipped with air conditioning and also mosquito nets on every window and a pull-out net for the front door. For our arrival the key was placed in a small storage locker next to the door that was opened using a pin code. The electricity of the rooms can be switched on using the key ring and turns off automatically when leaving wirh the key. The refrigerator is exempted and is running permanently. Inside there were little presents waiting in the kitchen (e.g. cookies and crackers, tea bags, two coffee pads, some ground coffee, a bottle of water, orange juice, a bottle of wine, fruits, chocolate). The personal was nice and we could contact them any time. Shuttle transfer was also arranged for us and costed 50 Eur from and to the airport. The driver was very nice and on schedule, even in the early morning.

The only little thing that comes in my mind is the speed of the WiFi connection. Not suited for online meetings. But you shouldn't work during vacation anyway :)

Everything was perfect and very clean!! We enjoyed our stay a lot. It’s very close to a lot of beaches and right next to the bus stop. The studio has everything you need and it looks brand new. Also, the owners were kind enough to welcome us with some snacks and drinks. In the morning you can go to a shop that’s super close, take some coffee and enjoy it on the terrace. And in the evening, there is a bar right next door which serves lovely cocktails.

Our stay lived up to the high expectations of beautiful Greece.

The guesthouse is beautiful everything is clean, fresh and furnished as you would imagine a stunning Greek home to be. Eleni and Maria are so welcoming and can not do enough to ensure you are enjoying your holiday. Every detail has clearly been thought about even providing a transfer service to and from Corfu airport. The location of the property is perfect with a selection of beaches within a 2 minute walk. The grocery shop is next door along with an AMAZING restaurant Gran Aldino if you want traditional delicious Greek food and wine you must go there the staff could not be any more helpful and welcoming!

More than expected

Everything was perfect. The apartament looks exactly as in the pictures, all clean, new and modern. The location is great, you can reach all the main beaches by foot and it has some restaurants and bars around as well as supermarket. All the details are considered - you have all the dishes you need, mixer, even juicer. The terrace is beautiful and really nice to hang out since it is not affected by any street noise or people. What is more the owner is really nice and helpful, even left some snacks and drinks for our arrival. Really recommend it!
