La vista
La casa era molto calda . C’è un unico split del condizionatore che rinfresca la stanza matrimoniale e il divanetto. Ma la stanzetta a dir poco un buco non riesce a rinfrescarla. Da raggiungere è complicato. Nella descrizione non sapevamo che c’erano 100 gradoni da fare ogni giorno.

The location, though tough to get to, is amazing. The house is a traditional Greek house and very charming. Fantastic views right down to the port. All the restaurants and bars of Ano Syros are a short walk away but the house is high enough above them to feel peaceful. Ermoupoli, the port, is beautiful with grand architecture and so well kept.
Was a bit tricky to find and google maps was struggling. Perhaps a simple map drawn by the owner could help, along with a sign for Rosolio on the building as we had to recognise it by the photos on booking.com . It’s a hard climb up hundreds of steps from the port (catch a taxi to close by though it can’t take you right to the house)

Hard to know where to start. We walked from the port with luggage and it was a tiring 25 'min walk mostly uphill. I got an earful from my wife. When we arrived everything changed. The place is spectacular and multiple arty restaurants and bars 2' mins away. This is our standout place of the year and we travel alot. We are in Naxos now in accomodation nearly twice the price and we are missing Rosolio. Catch a taxi or bus up the hill. Or hire a scooter as we did.
