Birgu Tower

Location is cool and also the owner was nice. Apartment had most of the stuff you need. Price is great.

Table wasn't working well, smell of the towels and overall apartment. Pillows were not comfortable.

I had a pleasant stay at Birgu Tower. The location is perfect, in a very nice area and close to the Valletta ferry, making it easy to reach many tourist attractions and places of interest. Birgu itself is a beautiful area to explore The owner was very responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We also appreciated the small extras in the room, such as complimentary water, coffee, and tea.

However, there are some areas that could be improved. The cleanliness of the room was not perfect, and the towels and bedsheets were quite old, synthetic, and heavily used. The room also has poor sound insulation, so you can hear neighbors and people using the staircase very clearly. In addition, the stairs are very narrow, making it difficult to carry luggage to the room, and there is no elevator.

The room is quite small, but in my opinion perfect to accommodate a couple. The stay was comfortable for us and the location is beautiful

You can hear almost everything that’s going on outside even if the windows are closed, so keep that in mind

Birgu Tower is in a great location for exploring Malta! It's just up from the main square and a 2 minute walk to the water front where there are plenty of restaurants and water taxi's to take you to valletta, if you get the large ferry it is €4.80 return and that includes the lift in valletta plus the free shuttle for Selima.

The room is smaller than you may think. Although it's clean, it is in need of some simple upgrades, like the bedding and the towels. The bed frame in room 2 is definitely in need of being replaced and I actually cut my leg on it.
