Birgu Tower is in a great location for exploring Malta! It's just up from the main square and a 2 minute walk to the water front where there are plenty of restaurants and water taxi's to take you to valletta, if you get the large ferry it is €4.80 return and that includes the lift in valletta plus the free shuttle for Selima.
The room is smaller than you may think.
Although it's clean, it is in need of some simple upgrades, like the bedding and the towels.
The bed frame in room 2 is definitely in need of being replaced and I actually cut my leg on it.
