Grand Arcanum Apartment 2 - Comfortable and Elegant

L’appartamento è bellissimo, spazioso pulito e arredato con cura, l’atmosfera luminosa rilassante e accogliente. Appena entrati ci siamo sentiti avvolti dalla storia che ha attraversato il palazzo e tutta la zona intorno. Curato nei particolari e ristrutturato con amore in stile romantico. I servizi impeccabili, biancheria profumata e pulita, il letto comodissimo e bellissimo, la doccia potente e con acqua calda immediata, la zona living spaziosa e con divano e tavolo fantastici, la cucina fornita di tutto e perfetta per essere utilizzata. I terrazzini con panorama sul porto, sulle mura e sulle fortezze di Malta. Bellissimi a tutte le ore. Ristoranti tipici a due passi con ottimo rapporto qualita’ prezzo, autobus per andare in centro a due passi, traghetto per la Valletta a 15 minuti a piedi sul porto bellissimo di primo mattino e anche di sera al ritorno, barchette storiche sotto casa ❤️❤️❤️

Mi e’ piaciuto tutto, ci sono molte scale ma e’ pieno di finestre e di panorami fantastici. L’aria passa e rinfresca la casa rendendola luminosa e fresca. La proprietaria sempre pronta a rispondere alle nostre richieste, la zona tranquilla, vissuta da gente del posto ci ha permesso di conoscere la vera vita quotidiana dei maltesi. Un popolo fantastico, accoglienti e sereni. Grazie di cuore per questa esperienza.

Very well put together studio, I liked the furnishings. The rooftop was really amazing for sunset. I appreciated the airco and flatscreen.

Unfortunately too noisy for me, stream of traffic and barking dogs. If these things don't bother you then you are fine :)

Świetna miejscówka, przystanek autobusowy tuż za rogiem, wokół kilka sklepów i restauracji. Klimatyzacja bardzo dobrze działała a widok z tarasu jest obłędny. Bardzo pomocny właściciel: kiedy mieliśmy problem z niedziałającą lodówką, przyjechał szybko i rozwiązał sprawę. Wifi działało bez zarzutów, samo miejsce czyste, wygodne łóżko w dość surowej sypialni co okazało się fajnym pomieszczeniem oddzielonym od części dziennej.

To nie jest miejsce dla wysokich osób :) trzeba było schylać głowę przechodząc korytarzem. W sypialni bywa głośno bo docierają dźwięki aut z ulicy (zwłaszcza klaksonów i motorów) ale nie jest to bardzo uciążliwe, Brakuje miejsca do przechowywania lub po prostu stołu na którym można by przygotować sobie śniadanie. Generalnie brakuje części kuchennej, mimo, że jest półeczka z miejscem na czajnik, kubkami, kawą i herbatą. Najmniej komfortowa była łazienka - bardzo wąska, z mikroskopijną umywalką, przesuwne drzwi z dykty bez zamka, nie do końca się domykały a w prysznicu łatały muszki.

This apartment has so much potential but ultimately we found it very uncomfortable, and we checked out early and moved to another much more comfortable apartment. The hosts were very gracious and gave us a partial refund for the early checkout, and we gave them a lot of recommendations which I hope they will use to make improvements.

The biggest issue is there's nowhere to put anything in the apartment! There's only one bedside table, so one of us had to either put stuff on the floor or drag the coffee table into the bedroom every night. The rooftop has a gorgeous view of the harbor but there's no patio furniture so you can't sit out there and enjoy the view without dragging furniture in and out. The toilet paper is literally on the floor in a toilet paper holder. Only one roll was provided for a 7 night stay. We just bought some more at the market. There is nowhere to hang your towels. There is nowhere to put your clothes while you shower so either you have to run to the bedroom or put your change of clothes on the floor. The water pressure and temperature changes every 30 seconds. From barely a drip of cold water to a decent warm stream. The internet wasn't working when we arrived. I had a video call so in asked them how to fix it. They never responded after asking twice. Finally I found the wifi hotspot on the wall and unplugged the cable and plugged it back in and it started working. The tap water tastes horrible but no bottled water was provided at check in and everything was closed because we arrived Saturday night and Sunday most shops are closed.
