Not cozy, not zen, the most unwelcoming place and host I’ve ever encountered

Good location for exploring Tours city centre.

Host ignored numerous messages before arrival re parking: our car was too high for the free parking so I asked if there was street parking. No response. To get in, I had to call a mobile, to be buzzed in, the second the door opened, the host hung up. Very unwelcoming. The door lock code was ridiculous, symbols, numbers, symbols, buzzers. Not simple at all. The flat was pretty sparse, no friendly features, plenty of rules up on the walls, the furniture and beds were old and worn, only just adequately clean. The bed wasn’t fully made. No extra pillows. A couple of hours into our stay I had a message from the host, in French with yet another list of rules and regulations including fines of €10 that would be imposed if any were broken. Again, so unfriendly. I finally had a couple of messages through in English especially the next day after I’d sent a single sentence saying we’d left, early that morning, hoping that we’d had all we needed but basically only to ask me to rate the place highly. I’ve never written such a poor review before but having re read others about this property I felt I had to add to them, not that it seems to do any good. Basically a host who couldn’t care less.

It is located in the very center of the city, with all tourist attractions within walking distance. Check-in and check-out times are flexible. The host is very friendly, always ready to help, and always available. The apartment is on the ground floor, with no stairs, which can be very important for elderly guests. There is free parking. A solid 10/10 rating!

Very comfortable accommodation in great location.

Super location in Vieux Tours close to Les Halles; secure parking in Les Halles underground; apartment is a good size & has everything one needs. Super fast wifi too. And, host Nicolas was very responsive to our queries.

La ubicación es perfecta, esta justo en el centro. El casero muy agradable y atento, que eso se agradece. El comedor y la habitación estaban muy bien y son acogedoras.

La limpieza muy justa, los utensilios de cocina bastante sucios, y las humedades del baño en el techo y paredes eran bastante grandes.

Le confort et l'espace dans l'appartement, la place de parking au parking des Halles qui se trouve à 300m. L'hôte a l'excellente idée de laisser à disposition une carte d'abonnement pour y accéder. Tout est là pour passer un très bon séjour.

L’appartement est très bien situé, calme et assez grand pour 5. La déco est super sympa

Dommage pour le chauffage et l’eau chaude ! Problème de chaudière qui n’est pas arrivé du jour au lendemain. Lors de notre arrivée. Nous avons dû attendre bien 2h avant que la personne vienne nous dépanner. Il y a eu également des dégâts des eaux. Quand ?je ne sais pas mais c’est pareil ce n’était pas de la veille. Le plafond de la salle de bain était dans un sale état ainsi que dans les toilettes. Ça ne faisait pas propre. Il y a eu également lors de notre arrivée le frigo qui avait tellement décongelé que j’ai dû serpiller et nettoyer le frigo car il y avait de l’eau partout. Et pour terminer, il faudrait changer le joint du four car on a dû nettoyer l’intérieur du four ; il était sale et une odeur de caoutchouc très persistante lors de l’allumage. On s’attendait à un geste ! Peut être partir 1h plus tard le matin sans payer 20€ aurait pu être sympa.

Tours un lugar agradable para pasear

Lo que mas me gusto fue que el alojamiento está bien ubicado y tienen una plaza de aparcamiento en un parking amplio y muy cercano. Es comodo de usar y seguro para tu coche.

Una hora antes de llegar preguntamos si podiamos entrar en el alojamiento antes de la hora, y nos dijeron que si (previo pago de 20€), no nos dieron un nuevo codigo con lo que el nos habian proporcionado para entrar daba error, cuando conseguimos contactar, cosa problematica por la falta de cobertura del lugar, nos encontramos la casa sin limpiar y las sabanas de los anteriores inquilinos en las camas. La sensacion fue horrible. Nos dijeron que habiamos avisado con poco tiempo, y lo que yo entiendo es que era tan facil como comprobar si lo habian limpiado antes, y si no estaba preparado que nos hubieran dicho que no era posible la entrada anticipada.

Parfait pour un petit passage à Tours

Nous ne sommes restés que quelques heures dans le logement mais tout était très bien, grande cuisine, proximité de l'hopital (ce que nous recherchions), possibilité de stationner gratuitement dans la rue. La réactivité de Nicolas.

Le lit était un peu mou pour nous, mais ce n'est qu'un avis personnel.
