If you are looking for a romantic and relaxing break, we'd say this enchanting cottage, set within the historic walled gardens of a beautiful country estate, is perfect. Offering total privacy and lots of stunning grounds to enjoy, will you ever want to leave? Spend idyllic days in the large, one-acre walled garden, relish the spectacular views across the estate or go for a stroll around the stunning 18th-century private parkland. You'll find 500-year-old trees, and you may spot some of the local wildlife, including pheasants and squirrels.
When it's chilly, cosy up by the log burner with a glass of wine, or rustle up a truffle chicken and potato gratin in the modern kitchen. We love the tasteful decoration here, from the framed pressed botanicals to the cute bee theme – think bee door knocker and bee fabric patterns.
If you want to explore, the charming village of Watton-at-Stone is a mile away, where you'll find bakers, a butcher and a deli, as well as an excellent pub for local ales and hearty food.
