Located next to the Curlew Beach access, there will be no shortage of sun, sand, and surf on this OBX vacation. The fully stocked kitchen is perfect for whipping up everyone's favorite meals and the open floor plan between the kitchen, dining, and living areas offers the perfect setting to catch up and wind down after your amazing day on the OBX. Everyone will love the indoor and outdoor entertainment, with the game room with a game table, TV, and refrigerator for snacks or head outside and take on a game of volleyball or horseshoes.

Exploring Nags Head: Located between the highways, Calm On Down lets you take advantage of the Nags Head Fishing Pier, local dining, shopping at unique shops, and visiting the historical sites on the Outer Banks.
Beach Access: Head south out of the driveway until you reach Curlew Street. Head east and cross Virginia Dare Trail safely at the pedestrian crosswalk. Curlew Street Beach Access has paved parking, portable bathrooms, outdoor showers and a wooden walkway.
No Smoking/Vaping. Dog Friendly - 2 Dogs Maximum Allowed. Dogs allowed for an additional per pet fee.
Private pools open Easter through Columbus Day.

All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.
Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (email is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental rates in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.

It was a very nice place, although the floors, steps, kitchen counters and all doors were Filthy!!!! We had them come back to mop the floors wipe the counters and wipe around the door knobs and they came with a broom a dirty cloth to swifter and I asked where is the bucket and mop and they assured me they did not bring those supplies. I have been “Kristin Barbour” for 20 years and I couldn’t believe that’s all they had and how they just went around everything!!! It was a poor half ass job if you ask me!!! We sent out and bought cleaning supplies to wash
the floors and the floors were black!!
Overall tho it was.a nice stay!

Stayed with our 5 grandchildren; lots of room for everyone to have their own space but the home also provided a great gathering area in the open floor plan and back yard. Plenty of room for our 2 fur-babies to play & hangout as well. The elevator was a HUGE help with groceies & luggage. Would love to see the entire backyard fenced in; would provide more family gathering area along with the dogs. Overall, would recommend this place for a wonderful & funfilled time.

The house was very spacious and with 4 adults and 3 children we were all very comfortable! The house was in a perfect location to beach and restaurants! The house does allow dogs and because we don’t have any I called before reserving to ask about the cleanliness with dogs being allowed. I was reassured that the house goes through an extra cleaning process because of the pets. We arrived to a lot of dog hair on the wood floors and the carpet in the bedrooms. I did vacuum but when we went to go to bed there was dog hair all in the beds! The blankets were covered with it! The kids woke with dog hair on them. I called and they were very accommodating by sending someone over to clean and brought brand new blankets for all the beds! I’m sure I was a little naive about the situation I feel like they could have done a better job with the cleaning since I was made aware of an extra cleaning process! In saying this McKenna was very nice and helpful to us! I will not rent a house that allows pets again but after we got situated we all had a good time!
