The hotel had a convenient location, the rooms were nice, and the price was reasonable for what it offered.
What I didn’t like was that in the upper rooms there wasn’t good coverage to block the outside light, there was no soundproofing at all, sometimes there was no hot water, and both the tap and the shower were strange — you had to open them and wait a while before the water started running.
In addition, at check-in we were unexpectedly asked to leave a €50 cash deposit per room, supposedly in case of damages, even though this was not mentioned anywhere in the booking information. We were not given any receipt or written confirmation, which felt unprofessional. After raising the issue with the manager, the money was returned, but the whole process created unnecessary stress.

Elegantly decorated room with several details thought of in a very convenient location. Serena in the reception was always polite and helpful.
Small room size is a drawback for people with lots of luggage.

Location off the beaten path, which meant it was quiet at night. Serena was nice and helpful.
The plumbing needs help. There was a musty moldy smell in the bathroom. Also, the room I booked online was the smallest and worst room they had. Luckily, we were able to move to a better room the second night.
