The beach was amazing! However, we need to cross a restaurant to enter the main pool and the beach which is not convenient. If I come back next time, I would book room the the Lagoon Village instead cause it is newly built. The pool in the lagoon village is also cleaner from my opinion (but smaller than main pool). Anyway, would recommend if you like the quiet private beach

Great for family vacation

Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and I appreciated the complimentary room upgrade. Most of the staff were kind and friendly. However, there were several repeated service issues that left a disappointing impression, and unfortunately, I don't think I would return to the resort. First, we booked a garden tour, but when the scheduled time came, we waited for more than 10 minutes. During those 10 minutes, we asked two different staff members about the tour, but both times we were simply told to wait. We did not receive any explanation or apology for the delay. There was also an issue during check-out. We were initially charged for minibar items that we had never consumed. I understand that this can happen as a simple mistake. However, instead of bringing us a corrected bill, the staff initially just used a calculator to subtract the minibar amount from the total and showed us the amount we were supposed to pay. When we checked the bill more carefully, we also noticed that the garden tour fee had been charged even though we had already paid for the tour in cash at the time of booking. After we pointed this out, the staff went to check again and eventually brought us a new bill with both the minibar and garden tour charges removed. However, even then, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Another issue was the handling of passports. At check-in, we handed over our passports and were asked to wait in the lobby while the staff checked the passport photos and looked for the corresponding guests. During our check-in, another guest's passport was mistakenly given to us. Again, I understand that mistakes happen, so I did not make a big issue of it. However, during check-out, we witnessed the same kind of mistake happen three more times — once involving us while we were waiting, twice involving other Korean guests, and once again involving my father. In total, this happened four times to us/people in our group and other Korean guests, in addition to the mistake during our check-in. What made this particularly uncomfortable was that there were many Western/Russian-speaking guests staying at the resort, but during our stay, I never happened to see the same mistake made with them. I cannot say for certain that this was intentional or discriminatory, but as a Korean guest, it did make me wonder whether the same level of attention was being given to Korean guests. I also noticed a difference in the way staff interacted with guests at breakfast. Staff were generally polite to Korean guests, but I often saw them proactively greeting and making small talk with Western guests, whereas interactions with Korean guests tended to begin only after we approached the staff first. Of course, this could simply be a cultural or communication difference, so I don't want to make an unfair assumption. Still, it was something I noticed during our stay. Lastly, I found the restriction on outside food delivery very inconvenient. I understand that the resort may have this policy because of concerns about insects, but I found the explanation somewhat difficult to understand when complimentary fruit, evening snacks, and room service food are all allowed in the rooms. Since the restaurants were quite expensive and, apart from breakfast, I personally found the food disappointing, the inability to order outside food made dining particularly inconvenient. I do want to emphasize that we appreciated the complimentary upgrade, and most of the staff we interacted with were kind and pleasant. However, the repeated mistakes, lack of apologies when they occurred, and the overall dining restrictions left a disappointing final impression. The resort itself is beautiful, but based on this experience, I unfortunately would not choose to stay here again.
